Sooo you want to hit the beach this summer??

Do you know that rental prices along the Gulf Coast have skyrocketed this year, forcing people to look elsewhere for their summer vacation plans.

Walt Disney World is one of those places and in some instances…it is more affordable than that 2 bedroom condo in the high rise that looks out over the pool and beaches that are packed with beach chairs 5 rows deep.

There's a little something in the world of Disney that we like to call Pixie Dust. It is basically just some random, unexpected magic that Disney will sprinkle over their guests for various reasons.

Yesterday one of my clients was the recipient of pixie dust. Their reservation got upgraded from a moderate resort to a deluxe resort and it doesn't cost them even a single penny. Days like that make my job as a travel advisor so much more magical.

Batuuan Beef & Crispy Topato Stir Fry – Smoky braised beef glazed in tamarind sauce served with stir-fried vegetables, crispy herb yucca, pickled onions, and cilantro

Roasted Endorian Chicken Salad – Marinated chicken, mixed greens, grapes, tomato, cucumber, shaved onion, and radish in a lemon-pomegranate vinaigrette with spiced yogurt drizzle

For our last meal in Destin we pulled up to the boat dock at Boshamps Seafood and Oyster Bar. It was our visit there and we were not disappointed. We will definitely be back.

Drink is a Banana Breeze. Very refreshing.

Tailfins is one of our favorite spots on the Destin Harbor. Enter through the front door for inside seating on the second level or enter through the downstairs harbor side entrance if you want to take in the sights and sounds of the harbor. Both are great.

We have only ever ordered this platter so it’s the only food item that I can give a review on. It’s called Toms High Roller and it’s piled high with steamed shrimp, clams, mussels, snow crab legs, lobster, and corn and potatoes Feeds 2-6 people. Perfect for a family.

After dinner, grab a spot at the harbor side bar and listen to live music. A great spot to people watch. 😉

We have never been disappointed at Harbor Docks and lunch today was no exception. We all loved our dishes.

Shrimp and grits, fried rice, tuna poke bowl, and sushi. The tuna was the freshest we have ever had. SO good and definitely worth your time if you are vacationing nearby.

This dish was to die for!!!!

Tournedos of Beef at Louisiana Lagniappe seafood restaurant located in the Sandpiper Cove community.

Filet minion medallions over a garlic-buerre blanc sauce topped with jumbo lump crab meat and shrimp covered in a bearnaise. Crazy good y’all.
