Travels, Tales & Toasts ‘24 at Bella Sera was the place to be 💯🌍✨

Last night we reunited with old friends, welcomed new ones, & shared stories of journeys past & future. 🍷✨

We enjoyed some tasty eats inspired by our travels across 7+ Italy regions 🇮🇹 over five trips in 2024. The star of the show was the heartwarming Cavolo Nero & Borlotti Bean Soup (Zuppa di Fagioli) from Lucca. So much fun raising our glasses to the memories we’ve created & ones yet to come. 🥂

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us & those who made this incredible night possible. A 2nd thanks too, we raised almost $900 for the Washington City Mission!

Here’s to the magic of travel & the joy of connection ❤️ Grazie mille!

🎥 What an fun morning we had yesterday! I was invited onto KDKA’s Pittsburgh Today Live to cook up something tasty for the viewers. For me, soup is so good for warming the soul when it starts to get cold out 🍲

I prepared my favorite, it’s a Tuscan Bean Soup (Zuppa di Fagioli)—a cozy, flavorful dish made with Tuscan kale (in Italy called cavallo nero), bietola (chard or bok choy), borlotti beans, and other fresh ingredients. Perfect for these chilly autumn and upcoming winter days!

It was great being back on the set of KDKA, it’s been years, but I don’t think I missed a beat. David & Heather are so fun & kind!
