These are so good no one will know you used up left-overs. When you are cooking, think ahead. Can you make extra, and then reuse it later? How about planning extras for other types of foods? I always make more potatoes than I need. If I am making mashed potatoes, I will cook too many and remove the extra to a bowl to cool....
