New trails at nearby Robert's Farm preserve!

Still a bit of a work in progress, but for anyone looking for an updated trail map for Roberts Farm Preserve, here you are! Warming hut is open today, 1-4pm for ski and snowshoe rentals. How many of you in the Instagram and Facebook community have skied the yet?

Main Street in Norway is just a short 15 minute drive from the farm, many of our guests have spent time shopping and dining there. Nice to see some recognition for this great destination!

Norway differs from many other Maine towns because it retained its downtown instead of giving in to sprawl.

Butcher Burger's Bethel location is just 30 minutes from the farm, and on the way home from Sunday River Ski Resort, the White Mountains or Grafton Notch State Park, so you can make it your dinner stop on the way back from your adventures! This is our FAVORITE burger place in Western Maine (and in my opinion tied for first in the whole state!). My personal favorite item on the menu is the bacon bacon burger. What's yours?

The Norway Music & Arts Festival began as a sidewalk art showing in 1967 and has evolved over time to become a vibrant showcase of the full spectrum of artistic disciplines. With 3 unique performance stages, festival attendees can enjoy dance performances in Longley Square Park, a variety of unique musicians at the main music stage near the Norway Savings Bank call center, and theater performances from local troupes near Cafe Nomad. The arts festival also features live art, roving performers, and a colorful parade at noon around the length of the closed-off street. This event is organized by local non-profit Creative Norway, whose mission is to celebrate, uplift, connect, and nurture art and artists of all kinds in the western foothills. Thousands of attendees come from all over to browse the 100+ art vendors and main st. businesses, making it one of the largest events to support the arts in Norway.

A walk-in Covid 19 Vaccination will take place on Main St during the event brought to you by Healthy Oxford Hills and Lights Out Art Consulting.

Many of our guests take day trips to the Portland area. We highly recommend hopping on the Casco Bay ferry for a trip to the islands, and here is just one of the many cool things go see when you get there.

The ruins of Battery Steele are one part art exhibit and one part Maine history. The hike to go see them on Peaks Island is all beautiful!
