#45 of Yelp’s Top 100 Restaurants is close by in Ferndale. It’s the top ranking of the four names in Washington State! We should go check this out.
The New Mexico Tamale Co. in Ferndale has been ranked among the top 100 places to eat in the United States in 2020 by Yelp in a list of top restaurants, food trucks and eateries released Tuesday morning.
Also, this weekend: Members of the Ferndale Heritage Society don pioneer costumes to greet visitors of all ages as they experience how our ancestors enjoyed the Christmas holidays in these log homes. Each of the 12 cabins is decorated in a special theme to welcome visitors. The event includes hands-on crafts for children, old fashioned games, music and a working general store to purchase old fashioned Christmas gifts. Costumed hosts greet you in each cabin, and the smell of home-style baking, set the mood for the Christmas season.
