We are a garden restaurant located on the boundary of Tagaytay and Alfonso, specializing in home-cooked Mediterranean cuisine.

The restaurant opened in 2010.
Its first dining area was inspired by Italian farmhouses in Tuscany and received the nickname Marcia Adams Tuscany.

Since then, additional dining areas have been added following the Mediterranean theme with the Sunset Lounge (Spanish influence), Greek Terrace and its extension, and the Provençale Pavilion.

Mon's Restaurant is located inside Camp Benjamin, in Brgy. Taywanak, Alfonso Cavite. Most ingredients of the healthy dishes are sourced out fresh from Camp Benjamin's WIN Farm.

Lime and Basil Thai Restaurant is another must-visit place in Alfonso because of its Thai-inspired dishes and interiors. A simple country-style house with indoor and outdoor dining set up. It has a lovely garden that is perfect for alfresco dining. Reservation is needed as the restaurant gets busy, especially during weekends.

It all began with a declaration of love. Amidst the verdant and flower-laden garden, with nothing but thick hibiscus shrubs and romantic hydrangeas as witnesses, the young man knelt on one knee before the lady and asked her if she would be his sweetheart. She replied with a single-minded “Yes!”

And what better way to celebrate the overflowing of the heart than with the filling of the belly? Dinner had to be served! The table was draped with fine embroidered linen and laden with freshly picked lettuce and arugula, sweet-fleshed mangoes, pineapples, and other fruits in season, and an array of dips and sauces for drizzling over salads and pasta. It was an explosion of flavors and feelings. From this proposal began the public’s love affair with Sonya’s Garden.
