Friends of the Land of Zion,

James warned us not to boast about our plans for the future, since we don’t even know what tomorrow will bring! Instead, we should say, “If the Lord wills, we will live, and do this or that.” Obviously, we still make plans, trusting the outcome to God.

Our plans to tour the Land of Zion in 2024 were put on hold due to the war beginning October 7th, 2023. However, I traveled to Israel in August 2024 to connect with many dear friends, both Jewish and Arab Believers, throughout the Land. I was pleasantly surprised to see the sidewalks full of people in the streets of Jerusalem, heavy traffic on the highways, and joy expressed in the face of opposition. I moved freely throughout the country without fear. As much as I felt encouraged, many indicated that my willingness to GO and literally STAND with them spoke volumes.

Our contacts within the country are saying it’s time to come. Stand with Israel. Experience the places and the people. Enjoy the food, the sights, and the sounds. Walk where David, Elijah, and Jesus walked. Worship the King around the Land He calls His own. Pray over our brothers and sisters. And return changed forever.

“If the Lord wills, we will do this.”

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, and the swift release of every captive.

UPDATE!

I’m heading to Israel in a few weeks to connect with some dear friends and ministries, then my son Daniel and I have our flights booked to go back in November for our first Land of Zion Tour. I can’t wait to be back where the vast majority of the Bible occurred; to show my solidarity with all who desire to live peacefully, to serve however possible, and to attempt to be a blessing knowing full well they will be a blessing to us. All Israel News recently reported “A surprising number of people have been coming to visit and support Israel even during the war.” The ICEJ is holding its annual Feast of Tabernacles Tour and Conference this October. My best friend Joshua Aaron, hosting his own tour this September, wrote this, “As never before, Israel needs her friends to come and stand with her in these trying times…many Israelis believe that the whole world is against them.” Evangelical Pastor Allen Jackson, from World Outreach Church in Tennessee just led a group of 80 people in late June. He reported, “The food was amazing, the hotels were wonderful, the busses were air conditioned, we didn’t see any evidence of the things that everyone is afraid of.” He went on to say, “We were the largest tour group in the country. There were some groups of a handful of people, but apart from that, it looked like we had rented Disneyland for ourselves. We went to locations where it wouldn’t be unusual to see 50 busses and we were the only bus. We visited place after place that had been closed for months and they said, ‘We opened…because we heard you were coming.’” So, I’m beyond excited to be leading a tour this November and then again next October in 2025.
