A legend is attached to Zminje jezero on Durmitor, which explains its unusual name. Namely, according to tradition, there used to be a lot of snakes in this area, and when one winter the area was hit by extreme cold and snow, the snakes came all the way to this place trying to warm themselves. However, they froze in that place and disappeared, and when the winter receded, a lake remained in which today the forest surrounding it is depicted as patterns on the skin of a snake.

WoodMood kućice se nalaze na prelijepoj lokaciji,sveg 2,5km od centra Žabljaka.Okružene su četinarskom šumom i imaju prelijep pogled na planinu Durmitor.
Svaka kućica posjeduje dvije spavaće sobe(jedna je u galeriji),dnevni boravak,opremljenu kuhinju,trpezariju,kupatilo i terasu.Jedna kućica je predvidjena za smještaj 6 osoba.
Idealne su za odmor i uživanje.

DESCRIPTION OF THE HOUSES❗️❗️❗️

WoodMood houses are located in a beautiful location, only 2.5 km from the center of Žabljak. They are surrounded by coniferous forest and have a beautiful view of the Durmitor mountain.
Each house has two bedrooms (one is in the gallery), living room, equipped kitchen, dining room, bathroom and terrace. One house can accommodate 6 people.
They are ideal for rest and enjoyment.

LEGEND!!!

Once upon a time, as the legend says, the area where the lake is now was all under pine forest. Suddenly, lightning struck in the middle of the forest, set the pine tree on fire, the fire broke out, and the wind blew the flames all over the forest. The forest was then full of various beasts and ghosts.

Some escaped to Drumitor, the fairies went to the clouds, and the devil and the devil took refuge in the lake, right in the middle. They built a castle in it, made entirely of ice crystals, and they live there to this day. Thus, according to the story, this once tame lake became the devil's home, which is why it got the name Devil's Lake.☺️
