In Guanajuato, a historic city in central Mexico, be sure to visit... umm... everything! The beauty of its Baroque architecture, including the strikingly beautiful Templo de la Compania church, is one of the reasons Guanajuato was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beyond its narrow streets and tunnels, the city has an alleyway only 68 cm wide, the Callejón del Beso, the alley of love, made infamous by the forbidden kisses that Ana and Carlos exchanged from their respective balconies until Ana’s father caught them and murdered his daughter. Nowadays, tourists exchange permitted kisses there!

For context, this prehistoric-looking dragon-like creature can grow up to 5 ft. and 25 lbs. and is endemic to the islands. Actually, 97% of the reptiles and mammals are endemic.
