"My family and I had the most magical Santa stay at Roddy’s cottage. Every detail was thought of, from the welcome Santa themed hamper, to the festive Christmas decor to the personal visit from Santa and his elf. It was one of the best getaways we’ve had with the kids. The location and view of the Mourne Mountains is stunning, and with the added luxury of the hot tub, we had lots of fun too. The cottage is superbly finished and we will definitely be booking to stay again."

"Roddys cottage is a secret gem. I booked the Santa overnight stay for the 21st November 2022 as a special treat for my kids. That day was torrential rain and when we arrived at Roddys cottage the heating was on and the Christmas decorations was turned on which we thought was a lovely intention to detail. The cottage decor and furnishings are so cosy I loved the personal touches that the hosts have included from ice in the freezer to bath bombs in the bathroom. The kids were absolutely estactic when the door rapped and Santa and his elf came in what can I say they were both absolutely brillant and played the part very well they had great knowledge of the children and what is on there Christmas lists. The treats that was provided went down well with the kiddies and the Adults how can you not have a cheeky glass off processo and tuck into a box of chocolates on a cold, wet evening while watching some Christmas movies that was provided on Netflix. To finish off a perfect day we spent the evening chilling in the hot tub under the stars. My only regret was not booking it for two nights as one night was definitely not long enough. One of the best stays we have had and we can't wait to return again." - Anne
