The School Board recently approved Watson Mountain Middle School as the newest addition to school names. The newly chosen name, which was the first choice of the School Naming Committee, reflects the nearby historical community of Watson as well as nearby Watson Road. The school is scheduled to open in Fall 2024 with the start of the 2024-2025 academic year. The middle school will be located at 41480 Steeplechase Loop Drive in Leesburg, at the southwest corner of the Evergreen Mills Road/Ryan Road/Red Hill Road intersection.
