✨ Restaurant Review: Jungle Navigation Co. Skipper Canteen at Magic Kingdom ✨

I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Skipper Canteen, right in the heart of Magic Kingdom! 🐒🌴 This spot is themed around the Jungle Cruise, so you’re stepping into the quirky world of the Jungle Navigation Company. The restaurant is filled with fun decor and nods to adventure. It’s a perfect hidden oasis away from the park hustle! 🌿

What really sets this place apart is the menu as it’s more adventurous than many other Magic Kingdom dining options. If you’re up for trying something beyond the usual, this is the spot! I had the Crispy-fried Chicken, which was good, but the standout for me was the falafel appetizer which was absolutely fabulous, bursting with flavor! My husband ordered the Mahi-Mahi (fish of the day) and loved it. 🐟✨

The atmosphere is another reason to love this place. It’s a calm escape from the park and a bit quieter than other sit-downs in Magic Kingdom, which made for a relaxing break in our day. ⚓

A huge plus is how great they are with food allergies. They offer a full allergy menu and plenty of options, plus the staff was super helpful in making sure everything was safe. It’s so reassuring to have that level of care I've come to know at Disney World! 💜

I can’t wait to go back and explore more of the menu. If you’re an adult visiting Magic Kingdom or a party looking for a unique dining experience, I highly recommend Skipper Canteen! 🍽️

On my recent trip to Universal Orlando I dined at Big Fire located in CityWalk. The theme concept here is FIRE! All the dishes are cooked over an open flame, giving everything that amazing grilled, smoky flavor. 🔥

I had the trout and it was fantastic. I found it to be perfectly cooked and flavorful. My husband opted for the chef salad, and he enjoyed his meal too. It was fresh, loaded with great toppings, and had that smoky touch to the chicken and corn bread.🥗

A big shoutout to the staff for being so accommodating with food allergies. They were helpful and made sure everything was safe they even had a manger deliver my allergy meal. 💜

This was our second visit, and I have to say, Big Fire has officially become one of my top recommendations for a sit-down meal at Universal Orlando. I highly recommend putting Big Fire on your list for your Universal Orlando trip! 🍽️🔥

Welcome to the Grid! I had the chance to ride the new TRON Lightcycle / Run for the first time last week, and I loved it! Whether or not you’re a fan of the TRON series, riding a lightcycle feels special, and zooming through the Grid is a blast. Although much of the track is indoors, I highly recommend a nighttime ride to enhance the experience.

I’d say this is the most thrilling ride in the Magic Kingdom, though it’s not quite as intense as Rock 'n' Roller Coaster or Cosmic Rewind. TRON is a fantastic addition to Magic Kingdom it looks amazing in Tomorrowland and adds an exciting thrill option to a park focused on family-friendly rides.

My only critic is that the length of the ride is a bit shorter than many other coasters but I think knowing that ahead of time sets your expectations appropriately.
