Our Story

Marty and Monica Wood began building cabins (homes) in 2010 in Hochatown, Oklahoma with their first being Brooks Creek Cabin.

A true artist at heart, Marty is fueled by his passion for design. His first career had a background in drafting and he would sketch out plans in the evenings. Monica is a Real Estate Broker in Texas and Oklahoma and has embedded her tenacity for real estate with her love for design.

A few years ago, they got the itch to design again and Vail’s Bluff was brought to life. By the time The Barndo came to be, Marty and Monica had really honed in on their style and understood that creating a getaway surrounded by nature, didn’t mean they needed to sacrifice style and luxury. Their passion for travel and culture then took them to Tulum where they fell in love with the area and wanted a place for their family surrounded by the breathtaking locations and culture.

They have spent time perfecting every detail from the sketches to selecting every piece of furniture that goes in to their homes - all to make sure your GLAMCATION, is one to remember.
