Cockpit + Weather Protection ~ For optimal navigational comfort, the cockpit features a chart plotter, refrigerator, and speakers, as well as conveniences such as electric winches and sprayhood. Another distinguishing amenity is the Bimini top covering the helm, which not only provides wind-protection and shade, but also keeps the skipper dry in the rain thanks to the surrounding zip-on shell. Also, we provide drop-shades to cover the aft areas of the boat, which offer cooling relief from the hot sun, especially when anchoring or mooring into the wind at sunset. Most boats don’t offer drop-shades, so this feature makes What's Left particularly unique!

Travel Options ~ The most direct way to get to our USVI charter base is to fly into the St. Thomas airport (STT). There are two ways to get to our BVI charter base: fly into St. Thomas and catch a short ferry to the island of Tortola, or fly directly into Tortola, BVI (EIS airport). Once you arrive on Tortola, either by ferry or flight, you’ll need to take a taxi to Nanny Cay Marina, which our charter specialists will be happy to arrange. Alternatively, guests may fly into either base location and arrange with our team to have What's Left shuttled and docked at the preferred marina awaiting your arrival. Keep in mind that if you’re planning on visiting both the USVI and BVI on your trip, you’ll need to clear customs both ways, even when traveling via public or private water taxi service. Going from USVI to BVI, customs can be cleared in either White Bay (Jost Van D**e) or Soper’s Hole (Tortola). Luckily, it’s a short process in either location!

Sustainability ~ What's Left is undeniably pleasant to live aboard, but also goes the extra mile in terms of respect for the environment. In collaboration with the Olivier Racoupeau Design team of naval architects, Fountaine Pajot imagined the Aura 51 model to be able to accommodate a large surface area of solar panels without compromising on design. The generous flybridge, with its friendly lounge and relaxing sunbathing area, is fitted with solar panels that are totally flush-decked, integrating with the clean design lines and capable of producing 2,000 watts of renewable energy. This allows What’s Left to generate five times more solar energy than other similar yachts equipped with solar panels.

Safety + Performance ~ What's Left's stable multi-hull structure provides both comfort and safety. Our technical specifications take reliability to the highest level (e.g., sacrificial keels, crash box, boom height, protected windlass). Also, the seamless transition from inside to outside makes maneuvering this sailing catamaran easier and more enjoyable.

In order to optimize performance while reducing our ecological footprint, additional renewable energy sources have also been integrated into our sailing catamaran (e.g., AGM battery, low consumption fresh-water maker, visual control of consumption, etc.). This eco-responsible performance under sail ensures a reliable and economical trip.
