A COFFEE, A RIDE... AND PUIG MARIA!

After four long days on the saddle, we opted for a shorter ride today, complete with a coffee stop at Cycling Planet—the best cycling café on the island. With great coffee, amazing cakes, and friendly staff, it was the perfect way to recover and gear up for tomorrow's final stage.

Since we couldn’t tackle it yesterday due to slippery roads in the morning, we took on Puig Maria today—the so-called "Beast of Pollença." What a climb! Well done, team!

🌟 First Ride of the Year! 🌟

What a way to kick off 2025! Today, we took on the legendary Cap de Formentor, one of the most iconic cycling routes in Mallorca. With empty roads, perfect weather, a few curious goats along the way, and an unbeatable team spirit, it was nothing short of spectacular. 🚴‍♀️💨

The highlight? The whole team came together with incredible effort and determination to help Vinciane chase the QOM on the return from Alcudia. Talk about starting the year strong! 💪💥

Huge kudos to everyone for their energy, dedication, and positivity. This ride was the perfect reminder of why we love what we do: pushing limits, sharing laughs, and building memories together.

Here’s to many more adventures, challenges, and triumphs in 2025! 🎉

Happy New Year, everyone! 🥳🍾

That's a Wrap on 2024!

We couldn’t have ended the year on a higher note—literally and figuratively. Today marked our final ride of 2024, and what a ride it was! The Queen Stage delivered everything we could hope for: 123 km of pure adventure, 2400 m of elevation, and five epic climbs.

The highlight? Tackling an Hors-Catégorie climb on New Year’s Eve, all while enjoying the comfort of short sleeves—a true gift for any cyclist.

If you’ve ever wondered what our cycling camps are all about, take a peek at this incredible series of photos. They say it all.

Here’s to more adventures in 2025—see you on the road!

We could give you hundred of reasons why you should join one of our cycling camps, but sometimes, pictures speak for themselves...

The second day of the camp was absolutely amazing, with this amazing group, lots of climbing (Randa and Sant Salvador), but also lots of sun today. Good job!

FESTIVE 500, HERE WE GO!

For their first day of camp, the riders had the chance to assess their physical condition with a 20-minute FTP test on the Coll de Sa Batalla. The first stage was completed under beautiful sunshine, with slightly cool temperatures at the start, but very pleasant by the end of the ride. The week promises to be absolutely amazing! Well done, everyone!

🚴‍♂️ The 2025 Season Starts Now! 🚴‍♀️

The calendar may say it’s 2024, but for cyclists, the 2025 season is already here. Whether you’re chasing PRs, planning epic adventures, or eyeing the podium, now is the time to lay the groundwork for your best season yet. Here’s how to get ahead of the pack:

1️⃣ Join a Training Camp
Make this offseason count by heading to a cycling camp. Dial in your technique, crush some miles, and soak up pro-level insights in a focused environment. Camps are not just about hard training—they’re also an incredible way to recharge your motivation with like-minded riders.

2️⃣ Plan Your Race Calendar
What’s your “A” race for 2025? Whether it’s a Gran Fondo, crit series, endurance event, or stage race, locking in your race dates now gives you a clear target to build your training plan around. Don’t wait—spots for popular events fill up fast!

3️⃣ Refine Your Training Plan
Base miles, strength work, intervals—it’s time to structure your training for success. The groundwork you lay in the offseason will pay dividends when it’s time to push the limits. Consider working with a coach or dialing in your plan with the latest tools like TrainingPeaks, Trainerroad or Wahoo SYSTM.

4️⃣ Upgrade Your Gear (and Yourself)
Got your eye on new wheels or a power meter? Now’s the time to make those upgrades. But don’t forget the most important investment: you. Focus on sleep, nutrition, and building mental resilience to hit next season stronger than ever.

5️⃣ Build Community & Camaraderie
Riding solo is great—but training with a crew takes it to the next level. Join local winter group rides, connect with teammates, or even recruit a few friends for some friendly competition. Accountability and camaraderie are the secret weapons of top performers.

💡 Pro Tip: Preparation = Confidence
When race season rolls around, you’ll thank yourself for the groundwork you put in now. Make 2025 the year you ride smarter, stronger, and faster than ever before.

What is the best period of the year to join the camp in Mallorca?

Mallorca offers fantastic weather for cycling year-round. We run camps in Mallorca from September until June, and the weather is usually better here than anywhere else in Europe.
- If you enjoy cycling in the fall, come to Mallorca.
- If you want to ride your bike during winter and escape the cold, wet weather of northern Europe, come to Mallorca.
- If spring rides are your favorite, come to Mallorca!

Additionally, we have a large photo gallery on our website showcasing pictures from the past six years, organized by month. These photos show what SCCC riders were wearing at the same time of year, helping you get a sense of what to expect. Of course, keep in mind that weather can vary from one year to the next.

📸 The pictures in this post were taken on our 1st of January ride to Sa Calobra last year. Not bad, don't you think? ☀️
