Telluride was so beautiful! Absolutely golden everywhere! 🍁🍂💛

Our hotel was at the very top of the gondola, which was wonderful (wait until you see our view 😍), so we took it down to dinner, to a spot that was highly recommended everywhere! It was delicious!!! Expensive, yes! But worth every penny! It was so good and the server was wonderful! Definitely save this as a must try!!

🛟 New Sheridan Hotel Restaurant - This is the only historic Telluride hotel and one of the few of Colorado’s historic hotels dating from the mining days.

Stopped in Gunnison, CO to eat lunch (Back Country Cafe was delicious!) and pick up a U-Haul for our friends… yes a U-Haul hahaha

➡️ Long story short we are traveling to a tournament out west so we have two trucks and two boats… their truck wouldn’t start and luckily we weren’t in one of the VERY small towns we drove through from Albuquerque to Crested Butte but unfortunately Crested Butte is small enough where it still was going to take a couple weeks before the vehicle would be fixed… SO! We are now traveling with a truck and boat and a U-Haul and boat to our next adventure!!

🛟 Check out this awesome shop we found, they had all kinds of taxidermy including polar bear, boar, moose, gators and even a squirrel catching a bluegill!

😍 The hike back down the Scarp Ridge Trail, Lake Irwin (👀 the trout) & The Secret Stash Pizza!

🛟 If you drive to this hike, note you want a truck or off roading vehicle with some clearance. It is pretty crazy getting to the upper parking area but worth parking there vs. at the lake!

After hiking about 800 more feet in elevation we could see 360 and down the other side of the ridge!! **See Matt in the first picture!? This valley was gorgeous and we also got to see some fresh snow! ❄️

Hiking in Crested Butte was breathtaking!!

We started at a little over 10,000 feet above sea level and gain an additional 1,500+ feet during the hike making this hike the highest elevation Matt and I have hiked!! These were taken after the first 500 foot gain! More pictures coming next 😍😍

We pulled in just in time for our dinner reservations at ! It was soo delicious, fresh game!? How can you not LOVE it! I got their Colorado Elk Tenderloin served with Colorado Buffalo Sausage Ravioli and Black Truffle Hollandaise Sauce…. Wooooweee when I tell you it was good!! 😍

Went to the Historic Route 66 Casino and then Old Town Albuquerque for lunch!! We ended the day with dinner at Level 5 watching the “Watermelon Mountains” turn PINK! It was beautiful!!

Matt and I hiked the Petroglyph National Monument Trail! Check out all of these drawings made lifetimes ago!!

We think they definitely saw aliens 👽!!

The Monument protects one of the largest petroglyph sites in North America, featuring designs and symbols carved onto volcanic rocks by Native Americans and Spanish settlers 400 to 700 years ago.

Today we checked off a bucket list adventure that has been on my list for over 15 years now!! ✅ FLEW IN A HOT AIR BALLOON ✅ We could not have asked for a better crew and flight company! Greg and Mateo with were amazing and truly made our flight the best!! (More pictures in the next post!)

Burano’s skyline has the most perfect imperfection… a leaning bell tower!! Coming and going from Burano you get the best view of the lean! (See last picture) This bell tower was built in the seventeenth century and started leaning after some land subsidence! It is truly one of the cutest skylines I have ever seen!

**Special side note: we got the most delicious homemade gelato from right outside of the bell tower! 🤌😍🐶

🚨FAVORITE BAR ALERT🚨

Autumn and I have 2 favorite Bars in all of Venice this was one of them! We found it our first night there and pretty much ended every other night with an espresso martini from here!! MBT - MagnaBeviTasi!! Eat, Drink and Be Quiet which is hilarious because this place is never quiet, contrary to the pictures… it was always full until they close (which is normally 12-1am - well past everything else in Venice!) It is family owned and everyone there was so nice!! They treated us like we were family as well!

Our “fake aunt and uncle” are getting married!!! (See previously posts) so, right as we launched for our second cruise of the night, our fake uncle proposed!! Autumn and I became their new engagement photographers and videographers!! The Saxophone player (see prior video) started playing again and the crew brought out a BIG bottle of champagne!!! It was amazing!! After we got off the Catamaran we brought our new friends to one of our favorite bars and shared the news with everyone!!

Soooo what happened was…. After our amazing cruise was done and we pulled back in… Autumn and I weren’t ready to leave and neither did our new “aunt and uncle” haha so the owner gave us the opportunity to stay on for the “Nights of Jazz” trip! “Uncle Joe” knew all the ladies were hungry so he got us a pizza from the owner Andres’ friends place to take on our night trip too!!

**Side note, there are bars in Venice that stay open late - I’ll show you our favorites in a bit but most of Venice closes early so having the opportunity to stay out on the water with food and drinks was chefs kiss!!

What an amazing evening adventure… If you have the opportunity to take this Sunset and Jazz Catamaran Cruise absolutely jump on it… (tagged their IG account below) it was so perfect! The owner and all of the staff was so fantastic! You get drinks and cicchetti as you cruise the Venetian Lagoon! Follow the next few posts for the views!!

There are a few streets in Venice that get NO RECOGNITION online and this is one of them! It is full of bars and restaurants! **Street Name: Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. Everywhere has seating outside available, any kind of food you can think of and is no where near as crowded as the Square! We stopped here for a Spritz before our awesome adventure of the night!! And let me tell you… it was an adventure!!

Just a heads up, you can go up in this tower at St. Marks or up in the Campanile Bell Tower of the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore which is less crowded and gives you the view of the St. Marks Bell Tower and Square! Autumn and I chose a totally different approach to seeing Venice from rooftops which was part of the Day 2 adventure!! Coming soon!
