Apologies but our newspapers will be later today - the wholesaler's van has broken down and so they will be 2-3 hours late today.
Unfortunately, as the delivery kids will have left for school by then, please allow extra time for us to get them distributed around the village.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

A big thank you to all the children of Year 5 at Audlem St James Primary School, who took part in our community project of producing posters to highlight the problem of abandoned dog faeces in the village !

As many residents have noticed, this problem is particularly bad in the following areas :

- the Turnpike Field
- the canal towpath
- the playing fields & carpark
- the pavements around the school, and many local footpaths

Getting the message across that it is NOT OK to leave dog mess ANYWHERE in the village- especially communal spaces, can be a difficult task. So we thank the school children and the Head (Mr Perry) for their help.

After producing so much fantastic classwork, eventually. Max and Larnah were declared the worthy winners of the two (aptly chosen) Jellycat cuddly Cockerpoo toys, that we had donated from our shop as prizes.

Their designs (pictured) will be appearing around the village in the next few days.

Please keep Audlem a "Dog Emission Free Zone"
