A beautiful town of the cave temples - Badami ✨

Badami, once known as Vatapi, was the capital of powerful Chalukyan Empire

It is situated in Bagalkot district of Karnataka. This district is blessed with some impressive historical sites of ancient Indian History that include destinations like Badami, Pattadakal and Aihole.

In the current state, these places look like small towns or remote villages. However, they were the most significant centers of the Chalukyan Empire in their glorious days.

All the major attractions of Badami are located around the Agasthya Lake and sandwiched between two high mountain cliffs at Northern and Southern side.

One of the most brilliantly photogenic spots of Badami is the cluster of temples called The Bhutanatha Group

Situated at the base of a long wall of sandstone mountain , on a promontary by the expansive lake called Agasthya Tirtha. These temples date from 7th Century to 12th century and show various archictural styles

Just behind the group of structural temples is a series of rock cut bas relief images of deities on a boulder .
With blue water rippling in the full tank the Bhutanatha Group offers a mesmerising visual treat

Har Ki pauri - Foot Prints Of God 👣

Har Ki Pauri was built in 1st century by Raja Vikram, His brother Bhrathuhari did Austerity here for Lord Vishnu. After his Austerity Lord Vishnu appeared and gives him blessings, From there this place is named as Har ki Pauri (Foot Prints Of God)

Haridwar is famous for Har ki Pauri and it's Ganga Aarti, Ganga aarti means worship of Ganga, Lots of people visit this place for Ganga aarti everyday at 06:00 pm - 07:00 pm (Daily)

The priest hold large fire bowls in their hands, the bells in the temples at the Ghat start ringing and the chants of mantras flowing out in the air. People float diyas, with flowers on Ganga.

The shadow reflects on the river and lighting diyas on flowing Ganga looks so beautiful that cannot be expressed in words. It is a very fascinating experience to participate in the Ganga Aarati performed in the evening at Har Ki Pauri. This place is famous for its Ganga Aarti at dusk among tourists as well as devotees.

Welcome to the land of God 🙏🌺

I was waiting for this day for really long time, Or we can say, It was my dream to visit the land of god.
It was our first day in "Haridwar"This city is situated on the right bank of the Ganges river, at the foothills of the Shivalik ranges. Haridwar is regarded as a holy place for Hindus, hosting important religious events and serving as a gateway to several prominent places of worship

We were here for ganga aarti at "Har ki Pauri".
Har Ki Pauri is a famous ghat on the banks of the Ganges in Haridwar, This revered place is the major landmark of the holy city of Haridwar. Literally, "Har" means "God", "Ki" means " 's " and "Pauri" means "steps". Lord Vishnu is believed to have visited the Brahmakund in Har Ki Pauri in the Vedic times.

It is believed that it is the precise spot where the Ganges leaves the mountains and enters the plains. The ghat is on the west bank of Ganges canal through which the Ganges is diverted just to the north. Har Ki Pauri is also the area where thousands of pilgrims converge and the festivities commence during the Kumbha Mela, which takes place every twelve years, People can come and take a bath at its Ganga Ghat.

Well we went to this place called "Gismat Jail Mandi" which is located in Ameerpet, Hyderabad

This is basically Jail themed restuarant which is little weird to say that We had dinner in the jail for the first time which is also kind of crazy experience! 🤪

Anyways Arabian style sit and dine in Mandi which is sufficient for 5 to 6 people, They served with big chicken pieces, Salan n raita, If you're planning to visit Hyderabad yaha aana jarur..

आम्ही दर वर्षीप्रमाणे यंदाही मुंबईचे गणपती बघण्याचा कार्यक्रम केला, आवघ्या २ वर्षा नंतर पुन्हा लालबागच्या राजाचं दर्शन घेता आलं, हया वर्षीच्या मूर्तींना एक वेगळंच तेज होत, डोळे टिपणारी कलाकृती, उंचच उंच अश्या हया भव्य दिव्य मुरत्या आणि बाप्पाच प्रसन्न रूप पाहण्यासारख्या होत, असं वाटलं,जणु काही बाप्पाला ही त्याच्या भक्तांच्या भेटीची ओढ लागली होती आणि आपल्यासारखीच हया दिवसाची आतुरता त्याला ही होती. 🌸

Like every year, this year too we organized a program to see Ganapati of Mumbai, after every 2 years we were able to have darshan of the King of Lalbagh again, this year's idols had a different brightness, eye-catching works of art, these magnificent divine idols were so tall and it was like seeing Bappa himself in a happy form. It was as if Bappa was attracted to the meeting of his devotees and was looking forward to this day like us. 🌸
