Just ordered 10 new aluminum beach chairs to update both homes.

I will be heading there next week to implement a lot of little updates and maintenance needs - thanks to all our guests for loving our homes and gently helping us stay on top of what is needed between guests! ❤️

It’s fixed!!!!! 🙌🏻 Sooo excited because I sort of have a love affair with these couches 🤣

Now I just need to fix the drainage issue we have on the new pool deck and we will be pretty close to “perfection”. That should be fixed by the end of August!

Just an FYI:

For the first time EVER I will be without internet until Sat. afternoon. My guests have my support team contacts - but just an FYI for all others!

Pray for me - I’ll be hiking in the rain with our church youth for the next 48 hours and this is my only source of luxury - a padded bucket seat we made 😆 did I mention I am NOT a camper….

Sooooooo excited - I found someone to come fix my new couch on Monday at Paraiso 🙌🏻

Thank you to the patience of our guests who had to deal with it - finding a company was no easy feat!

Future guests: please don’t sit on or let kids do flips using couch arms 🤣🤦‍♀️👌🏻

Sharing some inspiration today. I admire all the families we host because there is no way to get 12-20 people to all commit to one week together without sacrifice and compromise in order to have the ability to spend those precious days together.

Kyle is wise beyond his years - I am guilty of shortcomings he mentions. But also striving to find the balance refers to.

🐢 Sea Turtles:
Loggerhead Sea Turtles are the most common species nesting on our beaches.
These amazing creatures have been around for over 100 million years! A female sea turtle can lay up to 120 eggs in a single nest, and she might nest multiple times in one season. Sea turtle hatchlings face numerous challenges, with only 1 in 1,000 making it to adulthood.

Something new and fun in Vilano! This is 6 min from the house. We also have a very fun playground and picnic spot 3 min. from our homes with beach access using the famous (at least in St. Augustine) lock bridge!

I’m baaaack!
And I’ve been at work behind the scenes.
A new blind replaced a broken one at Casa del Sol today and the broken pinball machine has been replaced with Pac-Man!

We also have on the schedule a person to fix our poor couch at Paraiso (fyi - please DO NOT sit on the arms!) and we have our patio guy scheduling us to fix our patio drainage issue that was unexpected from our new build.

Always working towards perfection!
