5 اگست 2019 تاریخ کا وہ سیاہ ترین دن ہے
جس دن بھارت نے آرٹیکل 35 اے اور آرٹیکل 370 کو منسوخ کرکے مقبوضہ کشمیر کی خصوصی حیثیت ختم کر دیا تھا، بھارتی حکومت کا یہ اقدام اقوام متحدہ کی قراردادوں اور عالمی قوانین کی کھلی خلاف ورزی ہے
ہم کشمیری ایسے اقدامات کو مسترد کرتے ہوئے ہر محاذ پر اپنی آزادی کی جدوجہد جاری رکھیں گے

‏5 اگست 2019 کو مودی سرکار نے IIOJ&K کی خصوصی حیثیت ختم کر کے UNSC کی قراردادوں اور عالمی قانون کی خلاف ورزی کی۔ پھر مودی سرکار نے ایک قدم آگے بڑھاتے ہوئے کشمیر میں آبادی کے تناسب میں تبدیلی کے ذریعے چوتھے جینیوا کنونشن کے تحت جنگی جرم کا ارتکاب کیا۔ انکا خیال تھا کہ ان ہتھکنڈوں سے کشمیریوں کے مزاحمت ‏کے جذبے کو کچل ڈالیں گے۔ مگر کشمیریوں کی خوئے مزاحمت نے تقویت پکڑی اور یہ مسلسل مضبوط ہوتی جارہی ہے۔ عالمی برادری کی (تفریق پر مبنی) منتخب اخلاقیات اور بھارت کیجانب سے عالمی قانون اور UNSC کی قراردادوں کی صریح خلاف ورزی پر عالمی برادری کی خاموشی قابلِ مذمت ہے۔ ہم سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ انسانی حقوق کی ‏ان خلاف ورزیوں پر صدائے احتجاج بلند کریں جنکی نشاندہی عالمی برادری میں طاقتور قوتیں کرتی ہیں مگر جب بھارت اور IIOJ&K میں اسکے ہاتھوں انسانی حقوق کی بڑے پیمانے پر خلاف ورزیوں کامعاملہ آتا ہے تو یہی قوتیں بھارتی منڈی یا اسکےساتھ اپنے سٹریٹیجک عسکری اشتراک کے باعث مکمل خاموش نظر آتی ہیں۔

I’m really honoured to have been appointed as the chairperson RCCI standing committee on Kashmir Affairs. Im thankful to group leader Sir Sohail Altaf and President Sir Nadeem Rauf for believing in me and giving me this opportunity to work on this platform.

I’m hopeful and determined that journey from here would be promising and together we can achieve a lot.
