Exciting news, Disney fans! Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique opens at Disneyland in Anaheim and Magic Kingdom in Orlando on August 25 for the first time in over 2 years!

The classic (& extremely magical!) makeover experience has some new additions for your princesses and princes alike, and booking begins early August. Reservations are required, and they have always gone extremely quickly, but it’s a must for your little one (ages 3-12) who loves to dress up!

I love it when more and more MORE announcements are made of returning shows, restaurants, entertainment…& today, MINNIE VANS! 🎉

The ride service through Lyft makes its return on June 29 and is a great solution for resort-to-resort hopping or even skipping out on the bus for a quick trip directly to the parks.

I used a Minnie Van first in 2018 for a direct trip from Port Orleans French Quarter to Boardwalk for an early breakfast at Trattoria al Forno. Our driver was extremely prompt, quickly and safely installed an appropriately sized car seat for my daughter, and even shared fun Disney facts during our ride. It was a great experience and an easy ride solution when you’re in a pinch for transport!

Happy Cinco de Mayo, from Donald Duck in Epcot’s Mexico!

This photo is of one of our favorite memories from our most recent trip to Walt Disney World. Donald spotted my daughter’s Nuimo Minnie Mouse toy & asked why it wasn’t of him. I said I didn’t think the store had a Donald Nuimo left (I legitimately hadn’t seen any!) but my (then) 5-year-old quickly said “yes they did!” 🙈🤣

Donald for *sure* gave me a hard time about it (I was approximately 10 shades of red) so naturally we acquired a Donald Nuimo before the trip’s end. 🙃

My daughter mentions at least once a week, “remember when Donald thought you had told him a story and got mad at you?” 🤣

Did you know that Walt Disney World in Florida recently opened a brand new “resort” and fully immersive experience unlike any other that truly takes you to a galaxy far, far away?

The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser allows you to board the Halcyon starship and join a family-friendly mission including lightsaber training, an excursion to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and more! Your time there surrounds you with characters from the Star Wars universe, challenges you with individual quests to complete on your provided datapad, and encourages you to determine your allegiance. Will you be a member of the First Order or will you join the Resistance?

Even your room for the two-night voyage will have you fully believing you’re much further away than sunny Orlando as your “windows” display the surrounding galaxy. Guests are also encouraged to come in costume and can have their face painted in a galactic makeover.

This is for sure an experience of a lifetime for a Star Wars aficionado!

One of my most favorite vacations of all time was my very first trip aboard the Disney Dream with Disney Cruise Line.

Happy Earth Day! And happy birthday to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

This photo was from my daughter’s very first visit to Walt Disney World when she was 2. This was my first time spending a full day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom rather than park hopping and we loved it! Being able to spend the time leisurely in the park allowed us to do things that we hadn’t done before - the Maharajah Jungle Trek, Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail and Feathered Friends in Flight! And we still had time to visit our favorite shows and attractions as well!

👩‍👧I’m Whitney, and I have an (ALMOST!) 6 year old daughter.
