National Highway has issued a warning to all customers flying from Manchester Airport throughout June, July & August, to leave extra time for travel after announcing that parts of the M56 between junctions 5 & 6 will be closed during specific dates for resurfacing slip roads as well as replacing road markings and bridge joints.

Please make sure to plan ahead for your flights departure time!

Just had a chat with a customer about how stunningly beautiful Greece is & all the memories came flooding
back.🧿

Let me set the scene….

It’s August 2017, Joel has no front teeth 😬😂 & it’s scorchio ☀️on the island of Zakynthos. We are cruising in our open top Jeep exploring the island. I can’t even tell you where this place was, we came accross this cove by chance. There was a perfectly placed taverna right on the water edge. We sipped on our Fanta Lemon, ( obligatory holiday drink ) 🍋 the boys went off snorkelling & I just remember sitting, watching them & feeling immensely happy. Gives me butterflies ! Wish we could bottle these moments x

It’s my mum & dad’s 54th wedding anniversary today ! 🍾This pic is of them in Tunisia loving life ! I had just completed my YTS at Pickfords Travel ( then became Going Places) & turned 18 so they were off !!! 🏃 ✈️ I’ll never forget they came in one Saturday morning armed with the Airtours brochure & booked 3 holidays with me, I miss those days ! What a Lovely evening ! ….. Honeymoon de- brief with Mr & Mrs Thomasson ! They treated us to a curry & drinks, what a lovely thing to do for us ! We’ve loved hearing all about all the little details that you don’t get from FB posts. Your photos are brilliant.

So Donna ( Mrs T ) contacted me in August to book their honeymoon to Dubai & the Maldives. I’ve known Donna since primary & secondary school. We’ve been friends on Facebook for a number of years. We live in the same town & have a lot of mutual friends.

That day of departure feeling. My heart is full & my head is whirling with memories ! Dreading the washing pile & the “ big shop” 😂😂
So our adventure has been a blast from start to finish. Combining Krakow & Zakopane for the skiing was a fab combo, killing 2 birds with one stone so to speak. We’re not culture vultures but love a bit of history & my word krakow delivered. As for skiing it was our first time. Jeez, me & Andy found it so difficult but Joel fell in love with it. To watch your kids take on a new challenge & put their heart & soul into it &. shine is the best feeling ever !
