Make Your Own Break Our goal is to help writers and actors take control of their creative careers by learning to produce their own work with little to no resources.

We also provide on-camera coaching for executive to help level up their virtual meetings. Make Your Own Break was founded by Award-Winning Writer/Performer and Producer Jennifer Lieberman to help writers and performers realize their creative goals. The turning point in Ms. Lieberman's artistic life was when she created her own solo show. After years of banging down doors and disappointments YEAR O

F THE SLUT was her breakthrough as an artist winning the Audience Choice Award at the Frigid Festival New York. By the age of 22 Lieberman was running the off-off-Broadway company Edge of Insanity Productions in the East Village. By age 25 she had produced 3 productions with Edge and Associate Produced the Independent film "Saturday Morning" (Awarded Best Comedy and Best Editing IndieFest, released 2009). To date Jennifer has produced upwards of forty independent film and theatre productions in Canada The United States and Australia. Jennifer has a true passion for bringing stories to life and helping others realize their creative dreams. JENNIFER LIEBERMAN is from Maple, Canada and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from York University in Toronto.

She has appeared in over thirty stage productions in Toronto, New York City, Los Angeles, Europe and Australia; including her Award-Winning solo-show Year of the Slut, which her novel Year of the What?
was adapted from.

In addition to her performance career, she has penned a number of screen and stage plays; her short films Leash and Details which both screened at the Festival De Cannes' Court Métrage among other international film festivals as well as the wacky web-series Dumpwater Divas.

Year of the What? is Lieberman’s first novel.
