Here we go again. Lockdown for 4 weeks. We will keep Underhill Cottage Arnside in tip top condition for when we can all enjoy what it has to offer. Fine views, lovely walks, great local services including pubs, cafes, and the finest chippy in the land. Let’s all stay safe and well and look forward to Xmas and a New Year full of Hope 😊😊

Called in to the cottage today for a maintenance day - All is ok and ready to welcome guests - we had a chance to realise just how special Underhill and the surrounding area is. It’s such a nice warm and relaxing part of the world - fishermen were out at Sandside the tide was high and the sun was out. Beautiful part of the world - love it 😊😊 hope you enjoy your stay at Underhill as much as we enjoyed ourselves there today

Fancy trying something new whilst you are on holiday. Arnside Sailing Club are running paddle boarding lessons this summer. The club regards the estuary at Arnside to be an ideal place to learn as at low tide the water is shallow enough to stand up in.

We are looking forward to welcoming guests ,new and old, to our lovely cottage once again.Being so close to the beach and fantastic walking country you will be able to take advantage of the fresh air and space
We have put in place extra hygiene procedures to ensure your safety. Our cleaners have been provided with appropriate equipment and training to protect themselves and our guests.
Anti viral disinfectant will be used to sanitise all surfaces and heavy use items.

Following guidance from our letting agents we have removed non essential items such as throws and cushions for your added protection. Guide books ,games and reading material also fall into this category.

Anti bacterial hand wash will be provided.
Our key safe box and keys will be sanitised between lets.

So come along and enjoy your break.

Here’s something for the summer - not far from Arnside is Carnforth where Leighton Hall is situated. A great place to spend time at. On 5th July there is a classic car rally. Think we will be going to that. Maybe see you there.
