Mountain magic! Our guide Adam had some extra terrestrial lenticular visitors who parked their cloudship on top of Mt. Jefferson this morning for a friendly visit and he just shared this lovely photo with me. 😉 The three sisters (spectacular stratovolcanoes in their own right) are to the left in the image. Come enjoy our alpine adventures on one of our Columbia River Gorge Waterfalls and Mt. Hood tours and make merry in our cornucopia of Cascade volcanoes. PNW life!

Pixie Cup Lichen! Just one of the many magical species we encounter on our Columbia River Gorge waterfalls adventures! Our biologically diverse cup truly over-runneth here in Oregon! Here at Infinite Oregon Tours we don't just like the lichen, we flat out LOVE them! One can almost imagine moonlit festivities of mythical forest creatures endulging in a sip or two of a tasty beverage, poured generously forth from these whimsically formed natural goblets! 😃

(Cladonia asahinae), the pixie cup lichen or Asahina's cup lichen, is a species of cup lichen in the Cladoniaceae family. It grows on moss, particularly Chorisodontium aciphyllum, Polytrichum strictum, and Andreaea species. C. asahinae occurs in Europe, North America, and the southernmost part of South America. It also grows in the Antarctic!

The striking chartreuse-colored lichen in the background of the shot behind me "drinking the waterfall" 😉 is called the "Golden Cobblestone Lichen" (Pleopsidium flavum). It almost appears to be electrified as its florescent color pops in striking contrast to the dark greys and blacks of the entablature and columnar basalt backdrop to which it clings. One of Nature's murals at her finest!

Visiting the Oregon Coast year round always offers some of the most rewarding moments to capture and appreciate the changing of the seasons in and amongst the coast range mountains and our lush coastal temperate rainforest. Watching and learning from the constant cycles of flowers blooming, wild berries fruiting, whales and birds migrating, Elk bugling, deer foraging, Tufted Puffins nesting, salty storms brewing amidst the sunlight kissed basalt sentinals (islands) which adorn our coast like ancient guardians... all leaves me with a profound sense of awe, wonder and gratitude to be able to call such a place home. Come join us on an adventure and we'll welcome you into the fold and treat you like family!

BEST TOUR EVER!

Tripadvisor review: Full-Day Guided Oregon Coast Tour from Portland
What a wonderful tour to the Oregon Coast!! The forecast indicated dry weather, a few clouds and fairly warm temperatures for a November day. The group was small, a creative and young crew filled with stories and a sense of adventure. During the day, we strolled through various beaches, forests and hunted for high view points for the best shots. The views were breathtaking, moments taken out of a movie scene! I was stunned by the fog, which casually elevated the mystic yet bright scenary. TJ walked us through secret trails and gave us unexpected insights about the fauna, flora, geology and history of every single place we went to. He was incredibly insightful, friendly and engaged very well with the crowd. After a long day and a total of 8K steps, we watched the sunset at the beach near Hug Point. We returned to Portland straight after. It was a truly unforgettable experience!

Our guests (and their guide) sure got a "hoot" out of some of the strikingly beautiful wildlife that can be observed on our Portland City Tour. The Rose City is so loaded with parks, green spaces, wildlife preserves, living museums of exotic trees, world class arboretums, legit urban hiking and surprises from the natural world around every corner... sometimes it's difficult to tell where the city ends and nature begins. That's just how we like it! A seamless tapestry of urban and wild places and spaces thoughtfully interlaced in a lovable, livable and often thrilling city to call our home.

One of the amazing perks of living in the temperate rainforest! Multnomah was absolutely MASSIVE today after/during this phenomenal storm. 100's if not 1000's of times I've visited this sacred place... and she still takes my breath away. Water = LIFE!!!

Such a phenomenal day in the office! Feeling beyond thankful and overjoyed that this can safely and passionately be our reality once again. Beautiful humans, beautiful places, authentic connections bathed in nature and love. Worked hard to get here, waited patiently, struggled, plotted, planned, manifested and it feels downright amazing to revel in these successes for the soul. Feeling so fortunate to be able to facilitate these much needed natural and cultural experiences for guests from around the States and the globe. My cup over runneth. Blessed and humbled by the joy and love shown from our guests and fellow traveler tribe. 🙏❤

One of the things we love most about our rugged 363 miles of wild coastline in Oregon are those plentiful quiet solitary moments when it's just you (or you and a loved one) the sound of the waves and that sensation of true peace, nurtured by nature, entering one's heart!

It is so wonderful to be out touring again with fabulous guests and we're proud to say Infinite Oregon Tours is alive, well and thriving once again! Your driver/guide is double vaccinated and we're carefully following all state and CDC mandates/recommendations when riding in the tour van (and otherwise) and are running at reduced capacity for safety sake, but we are indeed adventuring once again. Just wanted to beam some Oregon love out there to everyone and express our gratitude for those who have chosen to begin exploring with us once again! Let's keep up the good work, keep people safe and also keep our spirits not only alive, but THRIVING in nature once again!

All guests can book tours directly on our website: www.infiniteoregontours.com or feel free to give us a ring at 503-752-4744. 🙏

Our dear friend Kat Marean just presented us with this incredible piece of art celebrating the amazingly colorful patchwork quilt tapestry of nature that surrounds us here in our beloved Pacific Northwest! She definitely captured the uniquely Oregon magic that we strive to show our guests while adventuring together! Touched by her thoughtfulness, encouragement, creativity and attention to detail! We love and appreciate you Kat! I see a sticker or a shirt in the making!!!
