Disney made an announcement this morning about a new option for Lightning Lane access called the Lightning Lane Premiere Pass. This is a pilot program, so it will be limited. Here is what I know:

▪️At Walt Disney World, this pass will be available to deluxe guests only, available for purchase 7 days before check in, starting October 30
▪️At Disneyland Resort, it will be available to all, first come first served, 2 days in advance, starting October 23
▪️It will be sold in very limited quantities
▪️Pricing will range between $129-449 depending on the park and day
▪️At Walt Disney World, this pass can be used for ALL Lightning Lanes (including single pass), ONCE per ride per day, NO PARK HOPPING.
▪️This is a pilot program. I'm not going to worry too much about it, but my deluxe guests will have all the information they need before arrival if they are interested in trying it
▪️At Disneyland, it can be used ONCE per ride, even single pass rides, at BOTH parks.
▪️No reservations will be needed, similar to Universal Studios Express Pass

Walt Disney World Theme Parks
▪️On Oct. 9, our theme parks and Disney Springs will be closed in phases beginning at 1 p.m.
▪️Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will close at 1 p.m.
▪️Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Disney Springs will close at 2 p.m.
▪️It is likely the theme parks will remain closed on Thursday, Oct. 10.
▪️We will consider opening Disney Springs Thursday late afternoon with limited offerings.
▪️This includes the cancellation of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom on Oct. 10. Event tickets will be refunded.

Disney Resort Hotel Closures
▪️Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will temporarily close beginning at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
▪️They are likely to remain closed until Sunday, Oct. 13.

▪️Effective immediately, we will not enforce cancellation policies until further notice for dining and other experiences.

I am taking a family vacation to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday! We are taking the early flight out tomorrow (Friday, 9/20), spending the day at Disneys' Coronado Springs Resort in a Club Level room in the Gran Destino Tower, and boarding the Disney Fantasy Saturday morning for a 7-Night Halloween on the High Seas Western Caribbean Cruise!

We will be stopping at Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Disney's Castaway Cay! I cannot wait to share all about this vacation with you when we return.

is ooooooh so magical today!! The Laffoon/Hattock/Oswalt crew spent 2 days at Magic Kindgom, staying at the magical Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and then hopped on the castle of the seas, the Disney Wish for a few nights on the ship.
