Getting to Istanbul
You will most likely fly to Istanbul, which is served by two airports. Ataturk Airport is the more conveniently located on the European side, but as it is mostly served by Turkish Airlines, prices tend to be higher. If you are flying into the city with a budget airline, then your more likely destination is Sabiha Gokcen on the Asian side. This airport is a fair drive from the city centre, though it is served by taxis and buses.
