Since then , I have traveled to Jordan/ Jerusalem again with a group of 36 friends and family! I have also traveled to Spain and Portugal recently, with 15 friends of the group named Chicago Funsters! Will be writing about both these trips soon.

Hello friends! Summer is here and with it, graduation, weddings, parties galore!
Last week end, I had an opportunity to visit Saugatack in Michigan, with some of my very dear Montessori group of friends! Amazing time ofcourse, but let me tell you about the place itself!
We rented an airb n b through VRBO, a small cottage kind of unit, perched on top of the hill , from where you could view the lake, in fact it was on the lake! It had 2 bedrooms up and 2 in the basement, easily accommodated our group of 6! Property is known as Holiday Hilltop Resort!
Only downside is you have to climb up a lot of stairs to get to it, though they have a kind of trolley to take your luggage uphill!
Saugatack had everything you’d want for a weekend getaway!
Boat rides, a historical chain ferry that took you across the lake, built in 1857, imagine, quaint little local shops, restaurants, Icecream parlors, etc!
So, if you get a chance, do visit and have a good time!

Hello everyone,

With the Covid issue taking a backseat, all kinds of travel opportunities have opened up! Cruises, land tours, to every corner of the world are all out there for the travel elites! So much so, it has become difficult to choose! First I delved into the gorgeous Canadian Rockies, studied them thoroughly so much that I was dreaming about them everyday! And ofcourse, Rocky Mountaineer, the amazing train trip was a part of that! Canada had opened up after 2 years of Covid, so everyone was rushing to get there!
Some of the attractions in the Canadian Rockies is Bannf, Lake Louise, Jasper, the Icefields! Our dear friend Google can give us all the info!
So, what am I doing this year! Will keep you all posted once the plans fall into shape! Till then, take care and stay safe! And also, let us pray for the innocent people of Ukraine, losing their lives and homes !

Hello everyone, it’s been a while since I have posted on this page! My apologies, just caught up with health issues and planning new tours for 2022! In 2021, I fulfilled my dream of taking some of my friends, specially of Indian origin to see the beauty of my beloved Pakistan! The mountains, the valleys, the hospitality of the people of Northern Areas of Pakistan left us stunned and grateful! Amidst fears of Covid, we came back all heathy with priceless memories! Those who haven’t been to the Northern Areas of Pakistan, must visit there atleast once, and immigrant families of Pakistani origin must put this on their bucket list to show their children born here in the US, their cultural and geographical background, to make them feel proud of where their ancestors came from! Anyone who needs my help in planning their trip, just send me a message on FB, and I will be more than happy to help you plan!
Coming to 2022, right now I am busy planning a tour of the Canadian Rockies in summer! My mind and thoughts are all about learning about the different small towns and wonders of nature that the Canadian Rockies are so famous for! Until next time, au revoir, as the French say! Hello everyone! Just came back after a 4 day trip to Cabos San Lucas, Mexico! The weather was good, company of friends was awesome! We stayed at the Krystal Grand Resort, tvacstion was an all inclusive with air , hotel and food !
The resort was okay but the service was pathetic! Most of the staff did not understand English, and it was a nightmare checking in! Some of the staff were very uncooperative! Wouldn’t recommend this resort! There were five restaurants, the Japanese was the best, the rest were so so’! Took a tour to the town of San Lucas, typical Mexican town! However , the glass bottomed boat ride was fun! Saw the arches and fish swimming under the boat! Surprisingly, didn’t see much of coconuts except at one place! Each coconut for 4 dollars each!

Hi everyone, let’s talk about the tours I am planning for 2022!
In March, it’s going to be Umra; Karbala/ Najaf, Jerusalem and Jordan. Each will be a segment of its own, and people can choose all 3 or any one or any two of them! I am working on the air itn as of now , and also land arrangements like hotels; transport, guided tours! Insha Allah, the package will be ready to post in January!

Our world is so beautiful, endowed with a variety of terrain, climate, heritage, varied activities, diverse culture and so on! As such, there are so many wonderful destinations,that sometimes it’s hard to choose! It all depends on what you are looking for! Adventure, sightseeing, wonders of nature, or just a relaxing holiday, just lazing around the beaches! Coming to SAFAR Tours, that’s exactly my goal! To plan an itinerary that suits you! To customize it to suit your needs or preferences! As of now, I am putting all my efforts and know how into planning atleast 3 major group tours for 2022! Pakistan, Iceland, and Jordan/ Jerusalem/ Karbala/ Najaf/ and maybe Umra!

Good morning all! Fall is about to begin and the Chicago Winds will soon blow away the leaves from our beautiful trees ! Before that, we will get to see the lovely colors of fall, rust brown, red, orange and yellow! That’s the beauty of nature, the four seasons, bringing with it it change in wardrobe, change in social life, change in food, and above all, change in mind and attitude! Likewise travel is very important in our lives, that’s my opinion! It transports you to different lands, different terrain, scenery, language, culture, and you come back , rejuvenated, filled with memories of all the sights you have seen, and people you have met, variety of food you have eaten, all bundled up in the pictures you have captured! Tomorrow, I will tell you about our fantastic trip to Iceland, the land of the Vikings and Northern lights!

Good morning all! Today, let’s look at the recent tours I have planned and executed! Before the Covid Era( as I call this period)I took some of my senior friends ( very young hearted seniors) on a trip to Pakistan in December! It was a mixed group, make and female, some of Pakistani US citizens, and some Indian US citizens! The Pakistan Consulate was very cooperative and gave tourist visas to the Indian origin US citizens also! They were very eager to see Pakistan, about which they had heard so much about from us! We were 15 in all! My itinerary covered Islamabad, Bhurban, Nathiagali, Ayubia, Lahore and Karachi! I had booked all 5 star hotels, mainly Pearl Continental and Marriot! For land transportation, I had booked an air conditioned 20 seater coaster that was with us from day1, receiving us at the airport till our departure for Karachi! Along with us was a fully licensed tour guide, one more person to assist us with baggage etc, and the seasoned driver ofcourse! Breakfast was included at all hotels and for lunch and dinner, we had the option to try out different local foods! We had a great time, 24 hour service by the tour guide and his staff! The tour was a great success, as my friends will tell you and the world! For the Indian origin US citizens, it was an eye opener! They saw a Pakistan that they had never thought or dreamed of! They came back with wonderful memories, and so did we all! Pakistan is a beautiful country, and the hospitality, warmth and friendship will never be forgotten by us! This was just one tour of Pakistan! More to come! Stay tuned! Goodbye for now!

Good morning, what is Safar Tours??? A one woman show that will take you across continents to see and wonder at this beautiful world of ours! Why me? Well, just to let you know I have done 18 tours with my school in Karachi, Pakistan, The Mama Parsi School for girls! Something that was never dared or heard of, I travelled around the world with my young girl students, 13/14 year olds, starting with Moenjodaro, 5000 year old civilization found in the province of Sindh, all other provinces of Pakistan including the world famous Karakoram Highway and the old Silk route that goes upto China! Then we became bolder and more adventurous, and started our International tours, beginning with our neighbor, India, then Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, England, Europe, and finally our own United States! 18 tours in all, planned, executed, conducted, all done by myself! My ex students can vouch for my integrity, honesty, and thorough planning of the tours! All tours were highly successful! That was the beginning of my experience as tour planner!
