I know many of you drive down to Florance Alabama who may want to see this show. We here at this page are still very busy with other projects and just haven’t got around to Wayne County as of yet so we are keeping it here so we can populate it later with all the best that Wayne county has to offer!

We don't come on here much but this page is owned by Mike and Josh of the Visit Lawrenceburg TN, Amish of Ethridge, Amish and Mennonite TN, Older Dad Show and many others. We are not associated with any government or politician but do love the travel and tourism industry. We will be visiting and showing the best of Wayne county soon.

We finally made it over to the Tennessee Fitness Spa at Natural Bridge on a Sunday to see the place. It was much better than I had remembered. The creek was down and the leaves were changing so it was perfect to see the caves. The staff was getting ready for a new group looking to get into shape and they seemed very knowledgeable and talked a long time with us even when they knew we were coming for the classes. I am chubby enough to need a month here so it was nice to be accepted by them. I highly recommend the spa here if you want to take a week or more to get in shape and relax a bit. We got to go in to an Amish leather shop in Ethridge. He stepped out so we could take photos. It’s interesting how they can manually run some of this equipment and others ran off an engine that stepped down a rod that ran through the place.

We have been beyond busy with our Lawrence county pages of The Amish of Ethridge and Visit Lawrenceburg Tennessee. When I started this page I was working 3 day weeks and could take off a while to fully dive into the places Wayne county has to see. We are not a replacement for the pages that showcase Wayne county today but a version of what tourism resources we will be doing for ourselves. Basically the Mike and Josh from the other pages but in Wayne county. Many of our visitors to the Amish have talked about things to do in Wayne county and we believe many who have complicated lives would like to visit Wayne county. We will try and get through winter and see if there is more we need to do in spring.

Summertime is also great for getting out on a road trip. The Amish Wagon Tour Rides has the best way to see the Amish community in Ethridge Tennessee from a horse and buggy! They let the kids ride up front and hold the reins while the guide tells you stories. Call Diann at 1-931-829-2433 and schedule your trip! Adults are $10 and kids are $5 for about 1.5 to 2 hour ride! Bring cash for the Amish vegetable stands and a canvas bag for your produce or crafts. See the photos below! They go by the Amish Welcome Center!

Rain is coming this week and the rivers may rise. When they return to normal flow, you can run down to Crazy Horse Recreational Park and get in a canoe or kayak and ride down stream! They have plenty of camping areas for everything from class A RV's to privative tents! Beat the weeknd rush by going during the week and starting early! Ed's Pizza and More is a great restaurant with a play room on the side. Just inside the door is a wonderful table area and an open door play area for kids to play while us adults eat. The pizzas are homemade with their own pizza oven and the HUGE 16OZ, 12oz, and 8oz steaks are locally cut at the Waynesboro Piggly Wiggly. They're open today to feed you and your family today! Hello everyone coming into Wayne county! We have a few great places for you to see. Although we are small, we have the charm and relaxation you need to unwind. The Tennessee River provides great fishing and boating experiences while it's tributaries gives us the waters we float in our kayaks. We have plenty of trails to ride and quiet to write, so come see us when you are ready to hit the pause button on life.
