Good morning from my last day in lovely Northern Thailand. One of my favorite ways to really see a new place is to hop on a bike and see where its pedals take me. This morning, I discovered a small period of quietness before the heat and bustle of the day kicks up as I followed the perimeter of the Chang Mai old city walls. ❤️🇹🇭🚲🧉

My favorite aspect of Maui, Hawaii are the forests of incredibly lush, green vegetation. A visit here will leave you constantly in awe of the layers upon layers of plants capable of climbing and inhabiting the enormous Banyon trees. We found a spot just north Ka'anapali Beach on a walking path to Honolua Bay that took our breath away. New blog post coming soon on where to find this paradise!!

I get it. Hawaii seems impossibly far away. The spectacular service on board Hawaiian Airlines will smooth the path to your dream Hawaiian vacation! A credit card points redemption earned us first class seats, and we savored every moment. From free flowing MaiTai's to naps in our lie-flat seats. It's an enjoyable way to start an adventure!!

Lots of people: What's Curaçao?

Well okay!

Curaçao is a small Caribbean Island located less than 40 miles off the northern coast of Venezuela. (Way down there!) It's a part of the "A.B.C." collection of islands which include Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. Although many Americans have heard of Aruba, Curaçao has a similar vibe with a far less busy feel!!

Everyone thought that the Beach Boys were singing about a fictional location off the coast of Florida...but I DO believe we've found THE place of legend. We've been on the hunt this week for the best beaches in Curaçao and I believe we've discovered our top three!! More details on the way, of course.

So, I had an interesting question on a post the other day. Why would I ever refer to myself as stupid? The truth is, part of the naming of this site was a bit of a joke...but it's something else too! Hear me out...my absolute FAVORITE travel memories are the ones that made me feel a little, "stupid."

(Things like: getting off a 48 hour flight to Australia and accidentally driving on the wrong side of the road, getting stuck in an automatic toilet in Paris with my husband as it "self-cleaned" itself...AND us, forgetting a scarf in Qatar and sitting in my car a little longer to be respectful of a man wearing a traditional thobe.)

I've found that the moments that make me feel a little "stupid" are also the ones that leave me feeling empowered and brave!! In my experience, if you're feeling uncomfortable it is a clear sign that you're growing! ❤️❤️❤️
