I’M BEGINNING TO UNDERSTAND HOW GOD VIEWS BLOOD
“Blood” and “soul” or “life” are used interchangeably in the Bible. Blood is indeed special to God and therefore should be to us.
The people who are shaping belief today, telling us what, where, who, how, want to tell us what we should put into our bloodstreams. Of those, those in power, they’ve been selling the idea that our blood (our very life source) is inadequate for healing from something that we’re told is viral. It’s is not a novel idea. The founding legal document of this country holds that all rights are from our Creator. As it’s applied today, the Creator’s rights aren’t enough and so men have made laws enumerating rights that THEY give or take away. There has been an idol constructed as a legal “go-between” to interpret our human rights. Trouble is, when they became the law-giver, they became the arbitrator of our “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” This illustrates another problem we have with this legal slight-of-hand, that being our source for information. Who we look to for truth. Who we believe.
Is our blood, our life source, adequate to the task of disease? The principalities have evolved on this topic from benign neglect in order to focus on and improve “symptoms” to current day. Today the force of law via public opinion (whether real or purported) is gelling behind an agenda to gain legal jurisdiction over our bloodstreams.
These are authorities who:
a. Use Science like an idol.
b. Don’t really understand our bodies.
c. Are known liars (in the case of government and media) and corrupters of science.
Whether or not to place faith in the powers that be over our Created immunity is a question of FAITH.
Many years ago a man was put to death by a government official, Pilate, who himself confessed, “What is truth?” (John 18:38). The public opinion who forced the situation were called “of Satan” (Rev 3:9 and other places). But, in this case Jesus allowed them to end His life. His shed blood was the end of the law, the end of righteousness through stipulation of the law, replaced by faith (also known as confidence).
So, each one of us reading this find ourselves at ground zero: our consciousness, confidence, faith-applied to a situation of faith. Ironic that it’s happening in a time when gatherings of the faithful are illegal.
My blood is adequate, for my Creator knows my end. My blood, my life, is belongs to Him.
Some thought that came to mind from yesterday’s hymns, and the current fight for legal or peer-pressured jurisdiction over:
a. My bloodstream b. A child’s bloodstream (that the State thinks they gain forfeit over it when parents don’t follow their recommendations.)
Deuteronomy 12:23–25 (NAS): 3 “Only be sure not to eat the blood, for the blood is the life, and you shall not eat the life with the flesh.
24 “You shall not eat it; you shall pour it out on the ground like water.
25 “You shall not eat it, so that it may be well with you and your sons after you, for you will be doing what is right in the sight of the Lord.”
Blood is very special, as indicated by God:
- It has an owner: God instructed that it must either be used in sacrifice to Him or let run onto the ground. Matthew Henry comments: “When they could not bring the blood to the altar, to pour it out there before the Lord, as belonging to him, they must pour it out upon the earth, as not belonging to them, because it was the life, and therefore, as an acknowledgment, belonged to him who gives life, and, as an atonement, belonged to him to whom life is forfeited.”
-The “blood” and the “soul” are synonymous, in the Bible: Genesis 9:4 (NAS): “Only you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.”
Your blood is your possession granted by God, an exclusive, exceptional, particular, significant, unique gift.
