Gentle Monster has arrived in Tokyo, bringing its iconic style to the heart of the city's leading luxury shopping district. Step into their two-level flagship store at 'The Jewels of Aoyama' and immerse yourself in their signature retail aesthetic.

For this location, they're shifting away from bold props and embracing a more approachable route. Read: from kinetic head sculptures to abstract Gorilla installations, every corner tells a story of bold design and self-expression.

Ralph's Coffee is making its UAE debut in Dubai at the Mall of the Emirates! Ralph's inspiration came from his love of smelling freshly brewed coffee and the memories linked to it. With its charming vintage atmosphere, authentic green color, equestrian-themed artwork, and the cute Polo bear, the bar immerses you in the in the world of the all-American fashion brand.

Ralph's Coffee crafts its own special blends with organically grown beans from Central America, South America, and Africa. Since its first branch opened in 2014, Ralph's Coffee has expanded to many locations, including coffee trucks, bringing the timeless all-American spirit all around the world.

Collaborating with the talented Jean Jullien Art, they seamlessly immerse you in a literary world, weaving artwork throughout the iconic department store.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, last December, Marc Jacobs had their first-ever UK pop-up store in London. Located at Covent Garden London’s historic Piazza, an entirely mirrored box was installed to showcase the season’s high-shine codes, making it the ultimate gifting destination for the upcoming Holiday season.

The pop-up featured intricate monogram details, giant metallic balloon letters and stars, resembling the jewellery collection, and included a mirrored photo area. A large silver tote bag swing served as the pop-up’s distinctive signpost. To complete the 360° campaign, the new collection, available for purchase at the pop-up, was showcased on the walls of the nearby underground station.

Immersive experiences are all the rage lately, and we agree it is the best way to encounter the brand universe with all your senses. Back in November, Glossier hosted their second-ever fragrance-focused pop-up in London — for their famous ‘You’-scent.

The Realms of You activation is designed to experience the fragrance through a conceptual lens of the five senses. It uses ASMR and live performances to take visitors on a personalized journey — inspired by the fact that Glossier You smells unique on everyone.

Incheon is the port city southwest of Seoul and is known for its second-largest port in Korea, beautiful beaches, and Incheon airport. In the heart, a second location of the Mars-themed hotspot S*k Mul Sung Café was opened last September.

The café houses a vertical farm where vegetables are grown in a glass-encased cultivation room, being harvested with internet technology and serving clean and safe foods to customers, all in the same place. The futuristic stainless steel is alternated with decorative red rocks and a matching floor to represent Mars. The café is set up by agri-tech start-up N.THING whose dream is to build a vertical farm on the Red Planet.

The winter prick is going strong here in Belgium, but in China, Burberry is giving all the snowy vibes in their impressive Chongli pop-up store concept giving a whole new meaning to après-ski.

Right in between the ski slopes, their kite-themed boutique has a knight blue and rose print interior where you can find their ski and outdoor collection and iconic handbags.

Last week in Singapore, we visited the Alchemist Café — known for its design-led branches — at The Heeren shopping centre. The interior designed by the local Wynk Collaborative is inspired by a timber pavilion situated on a sloped site.

The coffee roaster and parlour was founded in 2016 and has opened multiple cafés across downtown Singapore ever since. The roof-like construction creates the illusion of being in an entirely separate structure. The space wants to be part of the outside world and uses transparent glass walls to create an open atmosphere.

While scouting the shopping paradise of the Southeast, Singapore, we can’t miss swinging by this gem! Diving into the design haven at GINLEE Studio, this breathtaking space designed by Wynk Collaborative is an oasis for the fashion brand as well as a small workshop-style space.

From the sleek aesthetics to the thoughtfully curated displays, every corner is a testament to cutting-edge design. The customer is encouraged to stand counter-side to observe the pleating process or sit down in the courtyard area to enjoy the greenery while waiting for the requested product to be finished.

Throwing it way back to the electric streets of Seoul! Years ago, our Retail Inspiration Trips took us on an epic adventure through the vibrant city in South Korea. From the cutting-edge Bioprogramming Club — here you’ll find an interesting presentation of tech — to Village 11 Factory — where cosmetic retail meets gamification through vending machines and the futuristic Dongdaemon Design Plaza. We soaked up all the culture and inspiration we could find. What about the Nerdy Flagship Store — which looks like a real house, where you’re not entering a shop but a living room?

We’re already hard at work to see what’s next for our Retail Inspiration Trips! RIT is ending the year off by scouting a new destination: the island country and city-state, of Singapore! Who knows, this might be the next pin on the RIT map.

Singapore is the land of luxurious shopping malls and therefore a must-visit place for RIT. Next to the extensive shopping paradise, Singapore is known for their man-made waterfalls and greenery amidst the city, making it one of the world’s greenest cities.

While Nightingale was on their Voyage to present their SS24 novelties, RIT could not miss out on the fun! Our Retail Inspiration Trips were presented to the press and influencers on a vintage aeroplane cart — yes, back in the day there was chicken or pasta included — to inspire them even more.

We loved presenting our concept and even hinted at some possible future destinations! 👀 Stay tuned for more…

2 weeks ago we conquered the always inspiring and posh heart of the UK — London! The first day we went from King’s Cross to Oxford Street and Soho, exploring skincare at Space NK, clothing at Uniqlo in Covent Garden or grabbing a cappuccino in the Carhartt WIP Coffee Shop. To finish off the day, we got an immersive dining experience in Coal Office created by Chef Assam Granit and Tom Dixon.

The next morning, we started our day on a guided tour of the Tate Modern museum and later explored some high fashion in Prada Café and the immersive archival exhibition Gucci Cosmos. We closed off our trip at the Battersea Power Station, one of London’s most exciting and innovative new destinations.

We’re currently on our London RIT, commissioned byMode Unie and CreaModa so here’s a little peek at last night's inspiring and delicious dinner! Insert Coal Office — a food and design playground, created by Chef Assam Granit and Tom Dixon — an immersive dining experience, mirroring unique and engaging traditions found throughout the Middle East & Mediterranean.

Not only your tastebuds will be pampered, but the interior & design of the restaurant will surely give you some eye candy. Stay tuned next week for the full recap of our exhilarating trip.
