Safety Tips

Leave alligators alone.

Pay attention.

Do not feed alligators.

Throw fish scraps into trash cans.

Follow directions on signs.

Swim during daylight hours.

Stay with children.

Keep an eye on your pets.

Remember the odds.

This should go without saying but...never, ever feed Florida wildlife. Gators especially. A human-fed gator quickly becomes a nuisance gator that has to be relocated or destroyed due to human behavior. *This video was taken after advising a stranger to stop feeding bread to the gator. This gator had to be removed later that same day as it began following people hoping for more snacks*
