Tipsinah Mounds Golf Course is a beautiful golf course and our guests continually tell us how much they like it and a lot of credit goes to the staff that does such a great job keeping it up. We get a lot of our guests that come to golf but some don't golf and just love to sit outside and look at how nice it looks. If you haven't golfed it before, come and check it out. The prices are very affordable and you get to enjoy a great time on the links. Check out the great things some of our guests have had to say about the golf course this summer and the impressive thing is that we have not had a lot of rain this summer so the course is still in great shape even in a dry year.

Lightning hit a tree on the backside of the 11th green at Tipsinah Mounds Golf Course last night. We found a chunk of wood approximately 70 yds away with grass stains on the wood, plus more debris including into our yard at House on 11 and on the road. Here are a few pictures. We talked to the guys staying at House on the Green and they were actually sitting outside about 70 yds away when it happened and they said the hair on their arms raised up and they felt the heat from the strike. Thanks to the crew at the golf course for help with the clean-up.

We really appreciate the kind words from our latest guests that have stayed at our newest listing located right off the 11th green on Tipsinah Mounds Golf Course. We call this vacation rental home "House on 11". We are already starting to book both House on 11 and House on the Green for 2024 so please check the calendars if you or your family/friends are considering a stay. This is a great article about the businesses this woman has started in Battle Lake; the city of Battle Lake continues to grow and was a big part of why we chose to purchase and renovate our vacation rental, Hygge House, just 6 miles north of town.

As a child, Sara Boyum was fascinated by business; she still is. She followed her passion and created businesses in downtown Battle Lake that now define the town. Her newest venture is opening, too! Enjoy this profile of, as she admits, a serial entrepreneur!

After buying our Ottertail County vacation home last fall, cleaning literal yards upon yards of garbage, and gutting the entire home…WE ARE DONE(other than the lawn being hydroseeded).There are professional photos being taken tomorrow and we hope to get it listed on AirBnB and VRBO by the end of the week. I couldn’t resist showing you all just a few sneak peeks! I also plan on doing the name reveal and giving you the scoop on the methods to my madness!

Clubhouse at Tipsinah Mounds Golf Course is nearly finished and is looking great. Here are a few shots from the front and back. There is going to be a lot of room to visit/hang out before or after a round of golf.

Enjoyed a pulled pork meal with our family provided by the WCA Boys/Girls Golf Teams and used the new island at House on 11 while watching the golfers at men’s league. Ended with a beautiful sunset out on the deck overlooking the 11th green at Tipsinah Mounds Golf Course.

This is our newest vacation home which is directly next door to House on the Green! Enjoy the open concept floor plan, large entertainment room, and deck with awesome views of the golf course and some pretty great sunsets!
House on the Green is completely booked up during the weekends this summer, so if you want to stay on the course this is a great option!

Great to see the progress on the addition to the clubhouse at Tipsinah Mounds Golf Course. The additional room inside as well as more room outside will be the perfect way to end a day of golf. This warm weather reminds us that the golfing season isn’t far away.
