Start the 2025 off on the right foot with first day hikes at Sequoyah State Park and Cherokee Landing State Park!

Sequoyah:
Hike Options:
9:45 AM:
Bluebird Trail (1.54 miles): Meet at the trailhead located at the Chickasaw Campground entrance.
Sign-up begins at 9:45 AM, hike starts at 10:00 AM.
Please note: There are no restrooms available at this trailhead.
Tokens will be given out while supplies last.

12:45 PM:
Hackberry Gap, Whispering Pines, Eagle Roost, Deer Run (4.75 miles): Meet at the Park Office.
Sign-up begins at 12:45 PM, hike starts at 1:00 PM.

Cherokee Landing:
Time: January 1 at 9am
Meeting location: Park office
Name of trail: Red Fox Trail
Degree of difficulty: Easy
Pets on leash allowed: Yes
Length of trail: 0.75 miles
Things to bring: Binoculars, camera, water, weather-appropriate clothing
