Bhutan, earlier this year, with my brother @iamnickpags 👊🏼
During our stay at Six Senses Thimphu, Nick booked a private guided meditation at sunrise with a lama (spiritual leader) in the iconic prayer pavilion—a space designed for reflection, framed by 360° views of the Thimphu Valley.

Caracals, once trained for bird hunting in Iran and India, have a rich history tied to human fascination.
In these regions, during ancient times, caracals were placed in arenas with flocks of pigeons, and bets were placed on how many birds the agile feline would bring down—a practice that gave rise to the phrase “to put a cat amongst the pigeons.”
These felines are not only the fastest of their size but also renowned for their keen ability to strike down 10 to 12 birds in a single bound, making them versatile hunters in their natural habitat.
On safari with @thelegacyuntold, spotting a caracal becomes a thrilling experience. Their distinctive tufted ears and sleek tawny fur blend seamlessly into the landscape, making them a challenging but rewarding sight. The best opportunities to observe these solitary predators are during dawn and dusk, when they are most active.

Measuring at 10,582 km, Salar de Uyuni is the biggest salt flat in the world – containing over 10 billion tons of salt.
The geological history of the Salar is associated with a sequential transformation between several vast lakes. Some 30,000 to 42,000 years ago, the area was part of a giant prehistoric lake, Lake Minchin. When it dried up, it left a couple of seasonal puddles and several salt pans, including Salar de Uyuni.
During the rainy season, Salar De Uyuni is covered in very clear water, making it the largest natural mirror in the world. The salar is a photographer’s wonderland. The relatively flat, endless expanse of the salt flat creates a natural lack of depth perception which allows for creativity and illusion alike.
Whether you’re here to capture stunning images or engage in thrilling nature activities, knowledgeable guides will take you through this one-of-a-kind terrain, allowing you to appreciate the stunning reflections and vibrant colors of the surrounding lagoons and geological formations.

On this night, we brought together some of our favorite people from the African continent who are creating the most mind-blowing experiences, redefining what’s possible in luxury lodging, conserving ecosystems, and uplifting local communities. We are so proud and fortunate to call the people in this video friends and partners.
A highlight of the evening was being joined by @the_south_african_youth_choir_, an award-winning choir of young students, providing a positive platform for local youth to develop their talents. Their rendition of “Hallelujah” brought tears to everyone’s eyes…
And a moment for our inspiring event designers…@kraak.co.za’s creative work is absolutely mind-blowing. From the canapés to the decor, to the creative geniuses themselves, words don’t do these guys justice. If you’re producing a special event in Africa, look no further.
This video was conceptualized, shot and produced by the incredibly talented @altstudios__. Seeing lion cubs in the wilds of the African savanna is a life-changing experience, whether you visit during their early months, when they are first emerging from their dens, or later in the season when they are more active and engaging in play.
Witnessing their early explorations is an experience that will leave a lasting impression on any traveler - from playful wrestling matches and mock hunting games to focused attempts at stalking prey and first clumsy climbs up trees.
Go for a walking safari in the floodplains of Botswana, the salt pans of the Kalahari, or the golden grasses of the Serengeti for a chance to spot these adorable cubs. Then, end each day by taking a dip in your private plunge pool and dining under the stars, in some of the last truly wild places left on the planet.
Africa is magic, mystery, romance, and adventure, further enhanced by the residents who call it home.

From the sweeping plains of the Serengeti to the lush grasslands of the Okavango Delta, zebras spend most of their time gathered in vast herds numbering in the thousands. As a result, their intricate social dynamics are on constant display, offering travelers abundant opportunities to observe their unique ways of life.
Male zebras, in particular, highlight the complexity of their social structure through dramatic confrontations as they vie for the coveted position of alpha.
When two zebras ‘lock horns,’ their muscular bodies collide with staggering force, sometimes reaching over 1,000 pounds of pressure per strike. The outcome of these clashes often depends on stamina and determination, with the dominant zebra typically emerging victorious and securing its position as the leader of the herd.

At the start of each year, hand-crafted incense sticks are used to celebrate Tết, or Vietnamese Lunar New Year.
One village specifically plays a pivotal role in this celebration. once a year, Quảng Phú Cầu, becomes immersed in an ocean of pink.
Nearly 3,000 households—about 70% of the entire town—contribute to the production of these fragrant sticks.
During Tết, incense is used to invite deceased ancestors back into homes to celebrate together. The line of smoke emitted once the incense burns is thought to act as a bridge between the spiritual and physical worlds.
With @thelegacyuntold, travel to “The Land of the Blue Dragon” to witness the meticulous artistry of incense-making from start to finish. Observe how skilled artisans select and blend natural ingredients like aromatic woods, flowers, and resins to create distinctive scents.
For a personal touch, try your hand at rolling your own incense sticks and learn the secrets to achieving the perfect blend and form.
