👩🏾🧑🏿‍🦱 Kehinde and Taiwo Shemede are fraternal twins, with quite opposite personalities.

👸🏽 Taiwo is shy at times. She is doing her JAMB exams this year, with the aspiration of going to university. She also volunteers her time as a teacher to the children in the Makoko community.

🤴🏿 Kehinde is active and full of energy. He too is doing his JAMB exams, with future plans to attend university.

🐟 Taiwo, like the other women in her community, is a tradeswoman and sells fish in the markets.

🛶 Kehinde, like the men in his community, is a skilled fisherman.

👸🏾 Rose is a tradeswoman, frequenting the markets and selling snacks to the children in the community. She is a skilled hairdresser that aspires to have her own salon one day.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 They have 9 children and 13 grandchildren.

🤴🏿 Baale Emmanuel is a former fisherman and the chief of Makoko and oversees the affairs of the community.

👸🏾 Mama Bernadeth is the matriarch of the Shemede household. She has lived in Makoko all her life and is a dedicated woman of faith.

🐟 She typically sells fish in the markets caught by her husband and the fisherman.
