Who blinks first? đ
This video, captured in Mkomazi National Park, shows the classic giraffe gaze. They might not blink, but their long ears often twitch - either to swat away pesky bugs or, as some observers believe, out of pure curiosity!
Ready to experience unforgettable encounters like this on your next safari? Letâs make it happen! âĄď¸ [www.tarakwaisafaris.com]

Might not look like it..
but as the fastest animal on two legs, the only African predators quicker than an ostrich are cheetahs and lions. đ˛

âThe wellness and freeing energy that Mie created was incredible. Add in the wonderful people that I genuinely looked forward to seeing every day, and this trip was not just a highlight of the year, but of all my time organizing safaris.â
Jay ~ Tarakwai Safaris
âIt has been truly joyful and inspiring to work with Jay. The safari journey and adventures in Tanzania was organized, fueled by his love and passion for Tanzania, its people, culture and nature that I also deeply share with. The whole experience, from the creation to the experience, organically unfolded itself and awakened all our hearts and senses for deep connection to and all around us.â
Mie ~ Flow with Mie

Marula tree â also known as the âelephant treeâ produces hundreds of sweet and highly nutritious fruits, which turn yellow when ripe and are often found on the ground.
Although there clearly wasnât enough fruit on the floor for this bull elephant, heâs learnt the best way is to give the tree a good shake to make sure he maximises his meal!

Always find it incredible how elephants move with such unity and grace, as if they were held together by some invisible bond. â â â â â â â â â
â â â â â â â â â
Something we recently read that perhaps relates:đ¤â â â â â â â â â
â â â â â â â â â
Stanford University scientists have found evidence that elephants use their sensitive trunks and feet to detect, and even interpret, low-frequency seismic signals sent from other elephants. The article mentions these signals could be about possible dangers or potential mates - essentially elephants communicating, over potentially massive distances, through the ground! â â â â â â â â â
