There’s something about South America that deserves much more exploration than it gets from much of the North American travel market! So many bucket list items (Patagonia! Easter Island! Machu Picchu! Galapagos!) yet everyone wants to go to Europe, on a cruise or the Caribbean islands. I love going there too but for something out of the ordinary, consider South America. I had the pleasure of touring the Celebrity Eclipse while she was in port today. Very nice ship with lots of amenities. She’s currently doing 7 night Bermuda trips out of the NYC area through July, with fares starting at $1269/pp. Eclipse will also sail a 12 day cruise to Reykjavik in August with fares starting at $1011/pp (that’s a steal!). Want to stay closer to home? She will sail round trip from Boston to Maine and Canada in August and September (11 days) beginning at $1329/pp. More itineraries too! I'm sure many of you who like to travel ask: why should I used a travel agent? Why shouldn't I book my vacations on sites like Expedia or Costco?
Because I can beat Costco. And while I can price-match Expedia, I can give you add-ons FOR FREE that neither Costco nor Expedia can do. Such as free breakfast for 2 every morning. A hotel/resort credit. A beverage credit. A free night!
In the example here, Costco will give you credits for a catamaran and a daily cabana rental. But those credits are not transferable and can't be used as cash. Use it or lose it. So while you may not want a cabana every day, I'm pretty sure you will have breakfast everyday (and at this resort, the breakfast buffet is $36/pp so I'm giving you $72 worth of breakfast at not additional charge).
Think about it!
I actually booked this resort for someone this week and they're going to have a blast!
