👀 We hope you've been waiting... 👀

👇 Here is what Amber got up to on her adventures on the Marella Discovery 2:-

✈️ We flew from London Gatwick to Tenerife and boarded the ship in Tenerife. The sun was shining and it gave us time to get checked in and explore the ship. We left Tenerife that evening and sailed through the night..

🌋 We docked into Arrecife, Lanzarote early hours of the next morning meaning we woke up in a different country. We booked an excursion through TUI for whilst we were in Lanzarote. Our excursion was to Timanfaya National Park and Volcanoes. We were taught all about the history behind the volcanoes and Timanfaya itself. We were even able to feel the heat of the stones! Lanzarote is full of history and beautiful little resorts!

🚢 We spent a day at sea. This was perfect opportunity for me to explore the ships and get involved with the entertainment. I took advantage of the onboard shops to do some shopping, bingo in the Squid and Anchor, live bands round by the pool and much more to get involved with...

✨ We then docked into Madeira and we had a total of a day and a half here which meant we had lots of time to explore the beautiful town of Funchal. Lots of coffee shops, outdoor markets, Christmas lights and the local drink Poncha. A few of my friends did the cable cars and tobogganing whilst we were here which is a Portuguese tradition! We had also booked an excursion through TUI and was able to see the whole island in a 4x4 off-roading experience which was very fun and eventful! Perfect for Adrenaline Junkies..

🌴 We docked into Gran Canaria and had two full days here. We had 2 excursions booked through TUI, one for each day. Our first excursion was the Panoramic Puerto Mogan trip. We was picked up by the coach and was drove to the sand dunes of Maspalomas and then down to Puerto Mogan which is located southwest of the island. Perfect and quaint little fishing village full of beautiful restaurants, coffee shops, a beautiful marina, lots of shops and much more! Our second excursion gave us the opportunity to visit Agaete Valley and take part in wine tasting with locally produced wines and coffee - Yum!

💙 I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to experience The Marella Discovery 2 and I had the best time. Let me tell you all about it!

✈️ The boarding was extremely easy at London Gatwick. Once we landed, we collected our luggage and headed to the ship which took around 45 minutes. Our luggage was taken by the members of staff, who then delivered our luggage directly to our cabin and by the time I had checked in, our cases were there - very quick!

🚢 The Marella Discovery 2 is perfect for people who like to have option of lots to do but also like to have the option of a more relaxed holiday...

🌞 I was lucky enough to experience a Deluxe Balcony Cabin and WOW! I was very impressed. My cabin was very modern, chic and very spacious - it definitely didn't feel like I was on a cruise ship!

😋 There are beautiful restaurants onboard - everything from Asian, Surf and Turf, The Glasshouse, 47 degrees and 47 degrees Gallery. A majority of these restaurants are included in the price of your All Inclusive but some come with a surcharge

💃 The entertainment was fabulous with something for everyone. West End style shows every night, karaoke, bingo, deck games, mini golf, climbing wall, quizzes, sailaway parties and much more. My favourite experience was the movies under the moonlight!!

🍹 Marella offers two options - these options are All Inclusive and Premium All Inclusive. I was lucky enough to experience both of these options as we upgraded 2 days into our trip. I would 100% recommend the Premium All Inclusive as you get the option of more cocktails, more branded alcohol as well as coffees - my favourite was the Iced Cinnamon Latte - YUM!

⭐ Guest Services and the Destination team are very helpful with booking trips so you can explore when you are docked in port. Marella also has the Navigate App which is very useful in regards to booking trips, spa treatments, restaurants, finding out about entertainment and where to find it, checking your onboard bill and much more

🌊 On the Marella Discovery 2, you can find two pools. One indoor pool at the Glasshouse and one outdoor pool which is perfect for when the sun is shining and for the days when the weather is slightly cooler.
