Our dog-friendly farmhouse is perfectly set up for visiting Skye🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Perfect as a base for exploring the island and equally as great for cosy coorie days in by the fire when the weather doesn’t play ball. Cosy up or kit up and get exploring, either way, the Farmhouse is the perfect welcome🥰.

Just south of our traditional farmhouse is a heavy dose of vitamin sea amongst the gorgeous settlements of the Sleat Peninsula🌊. Heading to Skye? Definitely check out the North😎, but do consider going south for some of the most incredible unspoiled coastal views🥹

A truly spectacular landscape, one of Scotland’s greats😎. If you’re heading to Skye this year, it’s worth getting up super early to head up to The Quiraing (and the other popular tourist spots on Skye) as you’ll get so much more of an experience with less folk around😁.

Early bird gets low tide at Portree harbour 😎⛵️

We stood here just after sunrise🥰 and watched two birds of prey flying and diving overhead🦅🥹.

With the sun rising much earlier on the island now🌅, and so much more time to explore⛰️, set that alarm early doors☀️. Particularly for the popular spots like the Old Man of Storr😎, the Quiraing⛰️ and ESPECIALLY the Fairy Pools😅.

Why wouldn’t you want to make the most of your time in God’s country?😆 The island that has captured a million hearts🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🩶

A handsome lad waiting for the rain to stop for more Skye adventures 🐶☔️

If you’ve ever visited Skye, you’ll know we’re ALL about 4 seasons in one day, sometimes in just the one hour aye😄😄. But it was the legend Billy Connolly who said “there’s no such thing as bad weather in Scotland, only the wrong clothing. So as long as you pack a raincoat, trainers, wellies and a bikini, you’ll be grand👌🏼, although not sure this boy🐶 would fancy a pair of wellies😂

Guests with paws on rainy days at The Farmhouse 🌾🌧️🌼 Todays rain? Tomorrow’s whisky😎. The Farmhouse is more than kitted out for even the rainy lazy days on the island🌾. With a wee pool table🎱, a little library📕, a huge kitchen/diner for entertaining🥂, a patio out the back and a huge grassy area out the front of the Farmhouse to launch the ball for the doggies during the clearer moments🐕.
