Disney Wish!! 🌊🚢🏰

This was my second trip on The Wish, this time as a 4 night cruise. The Wish currently sails 3 and 4 nights from Port Canaveral.

A Disney cruise is by far one of the best experiences you can have at sea!

The food, atmosphere, entertainment and ships are all the top of the industry. Disney ships do not have drink packages or casinos and it is a different vibe than most cruises, but just as many adults as kids on board and plenty of things to do.

Disney customer service and magic is excellent even at sea. While these cruises are a little more expensive than other cruise lines, character experiences and dining, soft drinks, and park quality entertainment, and multiple food options are all included.

Swimming with Pigs!! 🐷🏊‍♀️

Pig swimming is all over tik tok and I have many clients ask me about booking this experience in Nassau, so I had to try it for myself.

This excursion was booked through Viator and included a boat to Rose Island, use of a beach club, lunch and time with the pigs.

The pigs were fun and yes they do p**p, and the workers immediately scoop it up. It wasn’t nearly as gross I thought it would be.

They snuck up on you in the water and were very tame although very hungry.

Overall, this was a fun experience and I would recommend trying it once if in Nassau.

It’s not Spring without the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival!

Had to take a two night spring break trip to check it out and the flowers and topiaries were beautiful. Finally took the time to see the new Moana water attraction and it was great to see Epcot with no walls up for the “First Time in Forever 🎶🎶” ❄️ and ride Test Track one more time before it closes for refurbishment in June.

Epcot is definitely worth checking out no matter what time of year you visit!

Dreaming of a Merry Grinchmas or a Hogwart’s Holiday? Universal Orlando is the perfect place for both!

I recently attended training at Universal to learn about all of the exciting things happening in the parks and some projects they are working on such as Epic Universe which will have Super Mario World 🍄!!

I even got to meet The Grinch himself. 🎅🏽

The Holidays at Universal are fun time with special decorations, treats, performances and an awesome parade featuring balloons from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade 🎈🗽

This was my first Holiday time trip to Universal and I can’t wait to return to visit the Who’s down in Whoville and Hogwarts again and enjoy everything the Universal Orlando Resort has to offer! 🧹🏰🎁

Looking for a perfect way to get into the Holiday Spirit?

This is how I spent Tuesday on a one day Disney trip and it was the perfect way to kick off the Holiday season.

1:30 Thermal Spa at the Senses Spa at the Grand Floridian

2:00 Royal Pedicure at the Spa
(Since we had a spa reservation we were able to park at The Grand Floridian for the Christmas Party)

3:30 Took the Monorail to The Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

4:00 Dinner at Tony’s Town Square (otherwise known as the Lady and the Tramp restaurant.)

5:00-10:00 Enjoyed rides, shows and all things Christmas at the Magic Kingdom.

10:00 Waited only 15 minutes to meet my favorite Disney character (a perk of the nighttime parties)

11:00 Walked right on to Tron after getting in the virtual cue at 6:00 pm

11:30 Watched the Very Merry Christmas parade for the 2nd time and left the park loaded down with a bunch of Mickey Nutcracker Popcorn buckets and Donald Sippers.

A trip doesn’t have to be long to be great and I can help you plan all of your Holiday adventures.

No Disney fall weekend is complete without a visit to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! This special ticketed event is held at certain nights at the Magic Kingdom from August until October. I attended last night with family and friends and the reduced crowds, special character greetings, Halloween ride overlays and trick-or-treating, all made for a very fun night!

How about a one day trip around the world? This extreme Disney Day takes time, planning and lots and lots of steps but makes for a very memorable day!

The goal is to visit all four parks, travel by skyliner, bus and monorail, ride rides in each park, and have a meal or a snack in each park (bonus points if you go shopping or attend a show in any of the parks.)

Today my daughter Addison, her boyfriend Tyler, my niece Ellie and myself spent 17 hours completing the four park challenge. We started early, used Genie plus and Lightening Lanes to our advantage along with early park entry (another perk of staying on property) planned our meals and snacks and were strategic with park order. Overall we rode 14 rides and managed to ride both Tron and Cosmic Rewind and make it on most of the other popular rides, had lunch at the new Woody’s Round Up, walked 15.32 miles 😳, managed to attend a Hoobastank concert at Epcot (they had no idea who they even were) and looked in lots of stores searching for anything with Dug the dog from Up.

Overall it was a great day! If you would like to plan your own 4 park challenge I’m happy to share my tips and tricks to making the most of your day touring the World. This is a great option if you want to experience Disney but don’t want an entire Disney vacation. 🌎 🏰

Today I’m “Wish”ing I was back on the Disney Wish. Last weekend I took my first Disney cruise. It was a great opportunity to research for my clients in order to make your vacation even more magical.

The Wish leaves from Port Canaveral and sails on 3 and 4 day cruises with stops in Nassau and Disney’s Castaway Cay. The ship is beautiful and everything you would expect a Disney ship to be. The food, entertainment, character interactions were fantastic and the balcony staterooms were large and accommodating for a whole family.

If you love Disney or want an upscale sailing experience a Disney cruise is perfect for all ages at a price that is comparable to many other cruise lines. Cruises are available for booking through 2024 and early 2025.🛳️🌊🎆💕🏰

Riu Ocho Rios, Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Just returned from 6 nights at the all-inclusive Riu Ocho Rios in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Our group of 8 ranged in age from 17 to retired.

This resort is right under two hours from the Montego Bay airport and private transfers are a must due to the distance. We loved the Club Mobay service at the airport and I recommend purchasing for any trips in and out of Montego Bay. Club Mobay provides you with a fast track line in and out of the country, through customs and immigration and airport security. You also have access to a lounge with unlimited food and drinks while you wait for your resort transfers or wait for your flight to leave Montego Bay.

The resort options in Ocho Rios are fairly limited and many are adults only. The Riu is an all-ages family friendly resort and attracts visitors from the US as well as Europe and South America, especially the UK. I chose this resort for our family vacation because of its beautiful and sprawling beach. We had traveled to Negril (two hours from the airport in the opposite direction) before and wanted to see a different part of the country and visit Dunn’s River Falls . My preference is always a Riu Palace level resort in the Riu family and this was not an option in Ocho Rios. While we did notice some differences, the largest being only the palace level resorts serve Bourbon (you can purchase some duty free and if you a lucky a Jamaican friend will get it for you 😊) and do have slightly better service and finishes. Overall it was a very nice updated resort and the beach was amazing.

While the resort is huge, it never felt crowded. There are multiple pools and bars, buffets and multiple Al La carte dinner options. The food choices were good and everyone found something they liked. As with every all-inclusive or cruise you probably won’t have the best meal of your life but the food is good and enjoyable. Wifi throughout the resort is free and reliable. There are activities for all ages and you can be as active or inactive as you like. We preferred the quiet beachside infinity pool area and it was never busy. The swim up bars are restricted to adults only and they were very strict about maintaining this. We enjoyed the evening audience participation shows and performances, especially the Silverbirds Steel Drum band. They visit many resorts across Jamaica.

I have had many questions lately due to safety concerns in Jamaica. There was never a time I felt uncomfortable or that the resort was unsafe in any way. We left the resort to take a Catamaran to Dunn’s River Falls that we booked at the Scuba Caribe hut right on the beach. Highly recommend! I am not athletic or all that coordinated and I managed to climb the falls without hurting myself. It is a must do in the area! There is an option to walk the falls by stairs if you don’t want to actually climb up the water fall. Dunn’s River Falls is also an excursion option for cruises docking in Falmouth, Jamaica or Ocho Rios.

Overall, we had a great vacation. If you love a beautiful beach (no filters used on any of these photos) with natural palm trees and clear water and mountains all around you can’t go wrong in Ocho Rios🇯🇲🌊☀️🏝️🗻🌄⛰️
