The Icon of the Seas had some gorgeous staterooms!

The balconies in the aft suites were huge (tap on the picture for a panoramic view).

Some rooms had adorable areas for kids to sleep.

I loved the infinity balconies (inside your stateroom with floor to ceiling windows that open from the top to create a balcony). These are more private than the exterior balconies and less need to worry about little ones that like to climb.

A few days late but here we go. Icon of the Seas exceeded all my expectations. There literally is something for everyone on this ship. It is beautiful and fun and is frankly, so big, that no one space ever feels stifling with people. As I said before, I am a small ship gal, but the Icon may just have changed my mind!

Confession time: I am not a big ship person. So I was a little apprehensive when I went to tour the largest cruise ship in the world, Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas. I am here to say I have been converted.

The ship is so beautiful and there is just so much to do - truly something for everyone. Perfect for just about everyone!

And yes, she is big, but so well designed that between all of the different areas and venues and activities no one area feels over-crowded.

Cotswold Sheep

The Cotswolds make a great day trip from London. If you plan on driving, make sure you are comfortable with very narrow roads and driving on the left. Otherwise, consider a guided tour. You get to see many villages and don't have to worry about the rules of the road.
