As Japan’s tallest tower and the third tallest structure in the world, the views from the observation deck were absolutely breathtaking! We gazed over the glittering cityscape, with the lights of Tokyo twinkling below us, making for an unforgettable experience. 🌃 🌟Later, we headed back to Asakusa for a thrilling Sumo Wrestling show at the Asakusa Sumo Club. Perfect Mt. Fuji Day Trip: Tea Ceremony & Breathtaking Views! Japan 🇯🇵 November 2024. We left Tokyo early with Gogoday Tours for a 2.5-hour journey to Lake Kawaguchiko. First up: a traditional matcha tea ceremony 🍵—a beautiful start to our Fuji day!🌄 They say Mt. Fuji is “the shy girl” as only 30% of visitors get to see her at all and just 10% get the full view due to clouds. But we were lucky to join that 10%! With perfect weather reaching 22°C, Fuji was in full view, and we soaked up the epic scenery from the Fuji Ropeway. On our way back, Miranda and I took our own path through the forest. Due to the unseasonable warmth Autumn colors were just starting to show, and although Fuji lacked her usual snowy peak, the views were incredible.Next stop: the stunning Lake Kawaguchiko for some photos, followed by lunch with sizzling Wagyu beef—an absolute treat! Today was a day of exploring Tokyo’s vibrant mix of tradition and modernity! 🗼🌸 Started with a delicious brunch at Cheese & Doria, a unique fusion of Japanese and Italian flavors that you won’t find anywhere else!⛩️ Then, we immersed ourselves in history and nature at Meiji Jingu Shrine in Harajuku, joining a 2.5-hour walking tour with @localizedjapan. This serene shrine, dedicated to Emperor Meiji—the visionary who modernized Japan and ended the Edo Samurai era in 1868—was the perfect place to make a wish and experience a traditional wedding procession.🌳 Next up was Yoyogi Park, where post-war American forces once contributed to Japan’s reconstruction efforts. From there, we wandered down Takesh*ta Street, famous for its quirky fashion, where we spotted young girls dressed in gothic Lolita style (think Wednesday Addams) and found everything from cat cafes to pig and otter cafes.🚦 The evening ended in Shibuya with the iconic Shibuya Scramble Crossing, where over 500,000 people cross daily! Tokyo Morning Arrival & Shinjuku Food Adventure! 🇯🇵 Japan 🇯🇵 November 2024. Arrived bright and early in Tokyo after an overnight flight from Delhi! Landed at 5:50 a.m., navigated the rail network, and reached Shinjuku just as the city was waking up. With hours before check-in, we explored the beautiful Shinjuku Gyoen Gardens and Meiji Jingu Gaien, where hints of autumn colors were starting to appear. Lunchtime brought a delicious surprise—a Sweet Potato Festival at Okubo Park! After checking in, we grabbed a quick nap to recharge.In the evening, we wandered the streets of Shinjuku searching for the perfect ramen spot (without a long wait) and struck gold at @afuri_fineramen. Jim Corbett Safari Adventure: Tigers Spotted in Bijrani Zone! India 🇮🇳 November 2024 We arrived at Corbett Rivers Edge Resort just in time for a delicious lunch, with our villa surrounded by playful macaques! 🐒 After settling in, we kicked off the first of 3 safaris through Jim Corbett National Park—the oldest national park in India—hoping for a glimpse of the elusive tiger 🐅. Our first zone to explore was the Phanto Zone.We ventured into the dense, lush Sal forest, knowing spotting wildlife would be a challenge in the post-monsoon greenery. Our first encounter? A stunning Changeable Hawk Eagle 🦅! We heard elephants nearby but couldn’t catch sight of them. A jeep near us even spotted a tiger, but it slipped away before we arrived. We did spot the beautiful Eurasian Hoopoe, plenty of spotted deer, macaques, langurs, and wild boar. No tiger this time, but we’ve got two more chances tomorrow! 🌿🦌 On our final day in India, we embarked on two thrilling safaris in Jim Corbett National Park! 🐅🌿🌄 Morning Safari - Jhirna ZoneIn the soft, early morning light, we ventured into the Jhirna Zone. We were greeted by the vibrant sights of kingfishers, a Jackal, a wild boar, and an Oriental Pied Hornbill. The forest was alive with spotted deer and fresh tiger paw prints – but no tiger sightings… yet! 🐾🦌🍃 Afternoon Safari - Bijrani (aka “Biriyani”) ZoneLater, we headed to the Bijrani Zone, jokingly dubbed the “Biriyani Zone.” Here, we spotted more jackals, sambars, and even a few barking deer. Just as we thought our tiger dreams would go unfulfilled, we heard rustling nearby. Suddenly, not one, but two tigers emerged—a massive male and a female! 🐯🔥 For 30 breathtaking minutes, we watched them through the dense, post-monsoon foliage. But soon, a powerful growl reminded us of their territorial nature, signaling it was time for us to safely leave. What an unforgettable farewell to India! #JimCorbettNationalPark #JhirnaZ

The crumbling ashram, now overtaken by langur and macaque monkeys, felt like stepping into a real-life Jungle Book! 🐒🏛️We were mesmerized by vibrant graffiti murals of the Beatles, Hindu deities, and powerful yogic symbols painted by talented artists.
