What happened in Amboli???
A short reel on our recently concluded #ecotrailz Macro Expedition in #Amboli.
With a total of 8 participants traveling from 3 different cities in India, braving the weather with rains showing no mercy, managed to get out of their comfort zones, unlearn everything they knew about photography and learn completely new concepts (well most of them).
What was noteworthy was the zeal to go out there every single time no matter how tired they were and look for species they could photograph to tell you a completely new story about the ‘macro world’. All this while making new friends, evenings full of fun and laughter and lot of memories to go back with 😊
We are truly very happy to see what they have managed to create at the end of it all and those happy smiles on their faces tell us that macro is now a new chapter that everyone would like to pursue. 😊

We had some amazing luck last monsoon at jhalana. Loved sighting various leopards in different parts of the park and had some awesome photo opportunities. We hope leopard luck shines on us this year too 😊

13th November 2021 , an unforgettable day for the EcoTrailz tribe!
Early in the morning as the gates opened and all the Jeeps got in , we decided to take the route less explored. We drove straight to check two waterbodies where we had heard a few alarm calls the previous evening.
On reaching the spot , we saw a male leopard on the road approaching the water body. To our shock , we saw another leopard charge at him and they broke in to a massive fight that lasted for a little less than 5 minutes, exclusive for ECOTRAILZ guests 😊
The male here is Rana , intruding into Flora’s territory (the female who’s nursing a cub ) . She was determined to not let him in.
Interesting days lie ahead at Jhalana.
