🚨🚨🚨🚨5 WEEK PASSPORT OFFICE STRIKE🚨🚨🚨🚨

The UK and Ireland Passport office will be on strike for a reported 5 Weeks!

Uk Dates: 3rd April 2023 - 5th May 2023

Ireland Dates: 7th April 2023 - 5th May 2023

If your passport is out of date and you are eligible for a fast track you may be able to get it before the strike starts, if you apply for it today , do not wait!

This comes at the height of the summer rush for passports to be renewed.

This will also cause a serious backlog when they return to work after the strike.

Please be careful when booking your holiday if your passport is due for renewal.
(stay away from unprotected sites, you will not get your money back or be able to rearrange it)
It’s a possibility your passport will NOT be renewed in time for your vacation.

Personally I would not try and travel with less than 1 year on your passport. Some countries are strict on the amount of time you have left on your passport to entry their country and some uk airports will not let you travel out of the country at all.
