The OConnor family fell in love with sailing the past years both for leisure travel and to escape the pandemic in 2019-2021. Along the way of our bare boat chartering we decided we wanted to have a boat on demand for our passion and make it available to other experienced captains as a charter. Our side hustle at the same time was opening up Airbnb's in Blowing Rock, North Carolina so we decided to

Spring Sailing Wrap Up: We had a successful trip to the BVI's, gathered some local social media fame along the way, made new friends, and enjoyed the company of my niece Erin, and our valuable trip tag alongs of Libbie and Will. We did another successful traverse from the USVI where the Bikini Bottom is kept with the great folks at Virgin Islands Yacht Charters to the BVI's ... Charlotte is nearly 2 ... so beach days were mandatory which were great as well to actually pause and enjoy some of the areas rather than rush off ... we still did plenty ... all was stunning ... good times were had!

Destination: BVIs

Day 1- Sail our 45 foot catamaran from Compass Point to Maho Bay in St Johns for an overnight! Great drinks are ashore.
Day 2- Sail straight to Tortola and check into customs and have a nice breakfast, only takes about 2 hours and then head back to sea. Spend the night at Norman Island and visit W***y T’s.
Day 3- 8 AM …. Tie off beside the Indians rock formation … some of the best snorkeling in the world awaits you … Sail off and spend the night at Cooper Island
Day 4- Sail off and visit The Baths at Devils Bay National Park… with a green flag of course ;) Then set sail and head towards The Bitter End.
Day 5- The Bitter End.. you may want to spend another night. Have breakfast from the bitter end Yacht Club, a drink from The Rum Runner and visit The Saba Rock Resort for dinner.
Day 6- Sail back towards Jost Van D**e and grab a ball for the night. Visit Foxy’s for dinner and a beverage (or two)
Day 7 - Skip over to Tortola to check out of the BVIs and head back to St Johns at Cruz bay to check back in with the US customs. Have a shopping day and some excellent food. Plan to spend the night at Honeymoon Bay.
Day 8 - Time to check out.. Chug on over to the Compass Point Marina and tell the staff what a wonderful time you had!
