UPDATE – MAY 13, 2020: Disney Cruise Line suspends sailings through July 28
Disney Cruise Line is reaching out to your clients who were originally booked on departures through July 28, 2020, to advise that these sailings have been cancelled.
In light of this cancellation, Disney Cruise Line is offering your clients who have paid in full the choice of a 125% future cruise credit to be used for a future sailing within 15 months of their original sail date, or a full refund. The credit has been automatically added to their account. You may place a reservation on hold for your clients by applying it as a payment option when booking a new reservation on the Disney Travel Agents website.
For clients who have not paid in full, Disney Cruise Line will be automatically refunding any payment made toward their booking. This refund will be processed back to the original form of payment, but may be delayed due to the high volume.
The cancellation of the two Disney Magic sailings and three Disney Wonder sailings include Adventures by Disney Cruise Packages booked in conjunction with these cruises. Guests on these sailings will be notified by SeaMail of the cruise cancellation and will automatically receive a refund for all components, including the Adventures by Disney Cruise Package. There is no action needed on their part, as we are advising in the SeaMail that the Adventures by Disney component has been cancelled and will be included in their refund.

Please note that we will continue to protect travel professionals’ commission on the original sailing that is paid in full and cancelled by Disney Cruise Line. For reservations that were booked using a Future Cruise Credit from a sailing previously cancelled by Disney Cruise Line, commission on a second sailing will be earned only if the sailing commences and will not be earned if the sailing is cancelled by Disney Cruise Line. In this instance, commission will be paid following the standard commission payment process.
*Disney Magic Sailings: The Future Cruise Credit is equal to 125% of the original voyage fare plus the cost of the Vacation Protection Plan, if applicable. The FCC is only valid for sailings departing within 15 months of the original sailing. The original reservation must be paid in full to be eligible for the FCC. The FCC is applied per person and is non-transferable, non-refundable and has no cash value and may be divided across multiple sailings. Standard prevailing rates apply, and Guests are responsible for any balance due after the FCC has been applied. If Guests end up not being able to use the FCC, they will be eligible for a refund up to the amount of the original voyage fare plus the cost of the Vacation Protection Plan, if applicable. Standard cancellation policies and terms and conditions apply to future sailings. Guests who previously received an FCC are not eligible for an additional FCC.

UPDATE: April 29, 2020 – Disney Cruise Line updates for Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy sailings departing May 17-June 18, 2020 and Disney Magic sailings departing June 7-July 2, 2020
Disney Cruise Line is reaching out to your clients who were originally booked on a Disney Dream or Disney Fantasy sailing that was scheduled to depart between May 17 and June 18, 2020, and/or a Disney Magic sailing that was scheduled to depart between June 7 and July 2, 2020, and who moved their sail date due to concerns about the new coronavirus (COVID-19). Since then, with the wellbeing of Guests and team members as the top priority and in line with direction from health experts and government officials, Disney Cruise Line has cancelled these sailings.
Disney Cruise Line would now like to offer your clients an additional future cruise credit* equal to 25% of their original voyage fare to use toward the reservation they modified. Once your clients’ modified reservation is paid in full, any remaining future cruise credit will be applied to their shipboard account as a non-refundable onboard credit.
If your clients’ circumstances have changed and they would now like to cancel the reservation they modified, they may do so for a full refund of the original voyage fare they paid.
