Recently, I went on a girls getaway to New Hope, PA. We were looking for something that wasn't too far from NYC, offered high quality food and craft coffee bars, was near water and provided an opportunity for some physical exercise. We kicked around ideas ranging from Lake George, NY to Newport, RI. The Delaware River town of New Hope, PA got my attention....

When we were visiting Zion National Park we stayed at an adorable Country Inn nestled among the White Cliffs in Mt Carmel, Utah .
Five reasons we loved it:
🌵- the cabins were clean and spacious and the breakfast was yummy.
🐄- the farm animals! They were so friendly and great to visit with after a day at Zion.
🌵- the pool wasn’t open for the season yet but it looked great.
🐐- the handmade goats milk soap is wonderful!
🌵- the inn is on the east side of Zion National Park. So to get there, you are forced to drive the Zion - Mt Carmel switchbacks both ways. Plenty of opportunity to stop and take photos.

This spot always takes me back to my first job in NYC. Fresh out of college and working as a brokers assistant for Shearson Lehman across the street, I commuted here everyday from Putnam County. I was so enamored with NYC and vowed to live here someday. Thirty six years, a marriage and 2 kids later, and I still love this place. Our Story

I began traveling with my daughters when they were 8 & 10 yrs old. Seven years later we have explored many US states as well as Spain, Italy, France, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Czechoslavakia, Croatia, Hungary, England, Ireland, Iceland, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina. Travel for the Adams’ is not just a quick in and out to see all the top sites. We like slow travel. We situate ourselves for anywhere from 1-2 weeks in a city so we can really learn what it’s like to be a local.

I began creating detailed itineraries for friends and family around 5 years ago. My friends liked the detail I could provide which included things like how to best get from place to place, and what made the most geographic sense to see in one day that would be a manageable amount of activity. They especially liked offloading the hours of research that went into planning a trip to me.

If you keep postponing that awesome family trip abroad because it seems too overwhelming you need the services of Torly Travels. We will hold your hand from beginning to end all while providing advice on destinations, accommodations, activities, food suggestions, and lots of other useful tidbits along the way!
