✨Tiger’s Nest, Bhutan✨

The Tiger’s Nest trek, one of the most iconic hikes in the world to the Paro Taktsang, a sacred Buddhist monastery clinging to a dramatic cliffside 3,120 meters above sea level in Bhutan’s Paro Valley.

Legend has it that Guru Padmasambhava, who introduced Buddhism to Bhutan, meditated here in the 8th century after flying to the site on the back of a tigress, giving it the name “Tiger’s Nest.”

The incredible Punakha and Paro Dzongs in Western Bhutan; two of the must see sites on any Bhutan adventure.

The Punakha Dzong is a stunning fortress at the confluence of the Pho and Mo Chhu rivers, and a masterpiece of Bhutanese architecture built in 1637. Once the seat of government, it remains a sacred site and symbol of Bhutan’s rich history.

Perched above the Paro valley, Paro Dzong is a majestic structure known for its intricate carvings and spiritual significance. It stands as a guardian of the valley, blending history, religion, and breathtaking scenery.

100% to the top!

Congratulations to all the guests on September’s adventure to Mont Blanc and Gran Paradiso for summiting Gran Paradiso, 4061m, the highest mountain entirely in Italy.

The climb had near perfect conditions with a stunning pink sunrise greeting participants as they marched their way to the top.

Gran Paradiso National Park is a VERY beautiful place and this epic 4000’er is the perfect introduction to higher altitude alpine climbing.

✨ A Heartwarming Visit to Neema Village ✨

During our Family Special to Mt. Kilimanjaro, we were humbled to visit a remarkable child orphanage and baby rescue center in Arusha, Tanzania. Neema Village is transforming lives, offering hope, care, and a brighter future to the most vulnerable children in the region.

It’s moments like these that remind us that adventure is more than reaching summits—it’s about connecting with others, giving back, and being part of something greater.

Thank you to everyone who made this journey so meaningful. Together, we climb for a cause. 🌍

It was wonderful for the guests of our July, Family Special to Mt Kilimanjaro to visit , the child orphanage and baby rescue centre in Arusha, that is doing so much to help the most vulnerable children in Tanzania.

And well done to Tilly and Kit Kingsbury who raised over £3500 from their climb for Neema Village and who decided to use the funds to sponsor baby Upendo who had not long been rescued by Neema.

Visiting Neema is a deeply moving experience and it was a privilege to meet and talk with the incredible founders, Michael and Doris Fortson.
